Easy to install and fits well in the CD slot. The phone sits snugly in the holder but there is some wiggle room so the phone can move a little if the car hits a bump or is jostled. It took me using it a few times to realize that you can trigger the two side clasps to close automatically, instead of manually squeezing them, by pushing the phone slightly against the back of the holder.

I needed and easy way to mount my phone in my car. This phone mount works great. It securely connects to the CD slot in my 2010 Honda Civic. The mount auto fits to your phone when you place it in the holder. The front of the mount is a large button. So when you put your phone into the holder, the button depresses and the sides snap to the phone and hold it in place. And plenty of room for phones that have cases. The mount also rotates so you can use your display in landscape or portrait mode.

I love this I Ottie one touch cd mount phone holder. I no longer have to worry about the hot South Carolina sun running the electronics in the other one I had. This one is simple to use for hands free driving, is very sturdy, holds my iPhone very securely.

Read some positive reviews and decided to give it a shot. The best phone car mount I've ever used or seen. Was tired of vent mounts blocking a vent, and the CD mount slid in easily and has been rock solid on bumpy roads. The way the sides close when the phone is placed against the back, and pop open when you squeeze the sides makes the mount very easy to use, and to share with other drivers that have different size phones/cases. Can rotate phone for vertical or horizontal orientation. Overall a simple product that actually works well. Great buy.

I was worried that they didn’t even sell a CD slot style mount anymore after breaking my old one. I’ve tried the kind that clip to your vent slots or stock to your window/dash and never liked them. This product has an excellent design. Features that allow for any angle, turning the phone horizontal or vertical, tight fit in the CD slot and overall sturdiness. I also love how easy it is to get the phone in and out of. Five Star Product!!!

This product is very well designed and easy to use.I like this product because it gives me an alternative to mount my phone in the car without using a vent which in the winter time got the phone unnecessary hot.

This is exactly what I needed! Holds my phone tight and fits into my cd player that I’ve never used. Nice tight fit, my phone isn’t going anywhere and I can now have easy access to my phone for navigation, calls, and music.

Fit into my CD slot on my car stereo well. Holds my phone really well and in a great position so I can shoot forward facing videos as I drive, too! Very easy to use. Holder can also be attached to other bases and grips due to the standard sized coupler. Also, since I don't use the CD slot for playing CD's, the placement of the holder there means no blocking of my vents or having to look down at my cupholders to view Google Maps.

An awesome car phone mount for Ford Focus! I finally found one which is sturdy, doesn’t move or drop while driving, and sits well in a CD opening. I had a long drive recently with some bumps on my way, but this phone mount was holding my phone securely. Since it’s a CD opening mount, it’s located at around the eye level which is very comfortable when using it. Overall, that’s a great item for a very good price. Highly recommend!

Purchased new phone. This mount offered a larger cradle for phone. Easy to install, slide into CD slot. Adjust to your needs. You can insert or remove the phone easily.

Since i do not have android auto type radio, bought this as it fits in my cd slot. I dont play cd's anymore and thught perfect place to have my phone when driving. I tried many others with the sticky suction, and the ALWAYS would end up falling. This will never fall and it holds my s23 ultra perfectly giving me ability to use my maps app as if I did have android auto built in.

it's a great product if you have a CD player in your car that you don't use (or use). We have iPhones from 13 through 16Max and everyone can use this easy.

This is the best phone holder I’ve had. It holds on securely. You can easily open it with one hand and the arms snap closed when you press the phone against the holder. It turns between portrait/landscape which I sometimes do if I’m using gps. My mom borrowed it for a road trip and she liked it so much that I bought a second one for her. I had to use the bracket that comes with it to make it fit tighter in the cd slot. It has a small flexible magnet/tape thing you can wrap around your charging cord that magnetizes to the back of the phone holder so you can easily grab the end of your charger. I like this way better than the ac vent or suction cup design. It’s all plastic but I bought my first one about a year ago and it’s still holding up well.

Holds phone firmly. Easy to set and remove phone. Is secure and stable within the aiar vent. Phone is not too close to vent, and the cradle blocks it from damaging air.

This is a must have for anyone wanting a phone holder to mount in cd player. Phone does not move at all, very well built, and of the highest quality! Highly recommended

I was terrified to b uy this thing. It looks weird. It seems complicated to install. It still looks weird, but it was not hard to install, I read the directions and googled some dude's YouTube and got the info I needed. About 2 years later though, my cd player makes a clicking noise. YES I KNOW NOT TO TURN ON THE CD PLAYER. So I don't know why it clicks. I have thought about trying to take this mount off and seeing if it makes the clicking stop but once again, I am terrified (and I lost the directions). So, when I am not streaming music and my car audio is on, there is clicking if I don't have it in AUX mode. I can live with that, I just make sure its OFF or in AUX. Poor CD player. There's a CD in there (SHH, I forgot to remove it when I installed the thing). Let's see, useful stuff, it holds your phone good, and I am super picky about my phone. When I have had a heavy phone like my S23 Ultra, and the road is bumpy, the thing shakes a little, and I don't care because I have had this through several phones and it is absolutely fine. Well 2 phones. A Pixel 5 which I adored and now the S23 Ultra which I paid a kidney for. So, I trust this thing. And you get over the looks. Also, you can pivot the little mount thing so you can see the rearview camera if you don't know how to back up still, or if you just like to look out the rearview camera. So that is a nice feature. Be careful because you can snap it on your fingers if you are clumsy. I would buy another one of these, have used it nonstop since I was on a trip and bought it at a BestBuy on the trip and installed it in the parking lot on a hot day. It was not the easiest thing to install because the directions were not well executed. But I watched some guy's youtube and it helped. I forgot what was the problem for me, I think it was a part you have to use pressure to snap back or fold back or something. And it's kind of one of those things that once its snapped back, you don't ever want to have to unsnap it because it was so difficult and you have dainty little hands like mine. Great product though, will buy again because when I ever sell my car, it is going with it probably. LOL

Awesome. I bough this for a road trip to San Diego since my car does not have GPS. Worked great to hold my phone to provide directions from Google maps. Will be making a second trip and very happy I have it.

Who ever came up with this iOttie CD mounted smart phone holder should get an award. This CD mounted iOttie - One Touch is a great product. It was super easy to mount and works perfect. No vibration and perfect location for the smart phone on the dash board. I had been looking for a smart phone mount for years that meets all the parameters I had - doesn't vibrate - inconspicuous - good location that doesn't block your view of the front windshield yet puts the phone in a location that allows you to view easily and safely without taking your eyes off the road...and then I saw this. Amazing. I am "tickled pink" with this find. Thank you iOttie and Best Buy for coming up with this one. I highly recommend it to all if you have a CD player on your center console.
