I bought this because my Honda Odyssey navigation no longer updates. I installed it on the dash near my screen at an angle and it has stayed put unlike others. I like how I can adjust the angle to face me or my co-pilot when I need another set of eyes. I love how you just push your phone onto the base with 1 hand to click it in place and 1 hand aide button push to quickly remove it when getting out of the car. I plan to buy another one for my teen.

I’ve used the previous version of this iOttie Easy One Touch mount, and this new model is a downgrade disguised as an update. The build quality is decent and it still looks solid on the dashboard, but the actual usability took a hit. On the older version, placing the phone and locking it in was smooth and effortless. With this one, you have to push the phone in harder just to get the mechanism to clamp, and it becomes an annoying extra step every single time you get in the car. The “Easy One Touch” part doesn’t feel easy anymore — it feels forced. It does the basic job once the phone is in place, but the daily interaction is unnecessarily frustrating compared to the older model. That’s why it’s a 4/10 for me: functional, but clearly worse than its predecessor.

It's a very easy-to-install and practical item for using my GPS at work. Excellent quality and durability.

The suction breaks every once in a while, but it's a solid windshield mount. I feel like it's also somewhat bulky, but the phone is super secure.

I've had this product for the past two generations. Both iOttie Easy One Touch 5 and 6 are really good products but if I'd put Gen 5 over Gen 6 for a couple of reasons. First the snap mechanism is way more sensitive which makes it easier to hang your phone. Second it had magnetic cable holder which was waaaay easier to work with (eventhough that the magnetic tape they provide gets into pieces after a few months in front of the sun). And third, adjusting the length of the holder was more user friendly; to be honest you can't guess that you can extend the arm in Gen 6 as it doesn't have a screw and you just have to pull it. For all of these reasons I'll give it 4 stars, one star shy of gen 5. Don't get me wrong, this is a perfectly good product and it's way better than any holder you can buy out in the market, but if this product is not on a deal and it's around the same price of gen 5, I'd say save your money for the other one.

I really like this phone mount. It’s easy to install, holds my phone securely, and the quality feels solid. The only small issue is that it has a slight vibration while driving, but overall I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.

I tried this car phone holder and it’s really practical. Very easy to install and it keeps the phone stable even on bumpy roads. What I like the most is that it rotates to a perfect angle, so I can check the GPS without taking my hands off the wheel. The material feels solid and it doesn’t shake or fall. Highly recommend it for anyone who drives a lot or uses navigation apps.

Very ergonomic and adjustable. Feels very sturdy, doesn’t feel cheap. Before I mention this, I don’t know when this was designed, so it could have been designed and produced before my phone was made. My only issue is that I have an iPhone 16 Plus with an Otterbox case. The iPhone 16 Plus has a Camera button on the side, where the case has to have a hole on one side for it but not on the other side. So the grippers on this close unevenly on the phone, which makes the charging hole not align on the bottom. This is more a gripe with the case itself. But maybe the grips itself could be wider on the sides to bridge over any holes in cases, or the hole on the bottom for the cable to fit through could be wider to account for any uneven closing. Again this is more a small complaint, as the charger still works. The grippers on the side just don’t close evenly as a result, with one gripper not touching the other side of the phone. Very good phone holder and will work perfectly for any phones that don’t have the photo button on the side!

I needed to pick up a phone holder to use in a rental car, and this one did not disappoint. I figured the suction-cup-on-windshield positioning would work best in this particular vehicle, but was a little nervous since my phone is one of the larger models. If you’ve ever had your phone pop off the windshield while driving, you know how unnerving that can be! This one held tight and didn’t budge for the whole ten days. It took a little effort to remove when returning the rental, which was actually reassuring!

Great product. I like how the arms come together when the phone touches the back of the holder automatically. The only thing missing is that the arm that holds the phone holder does not extend.

Does exactly what I need it to do. Simple and fair price. I only wish it has the capabilities to extend in and out making it easier to reach and use. But overall good product.

Perfect for my Subaru. It was what i needed. Solid in place, however wish it stayed in place a bit better. Still, great product at a reasonable price.

It does the job required. Easy install but recommend using real 3m tape. Provided no name brand tape will not hold bigger phones.

I've been looking for a phone holder an all the ones i ised ended up breaking. I got this one an i absolutely love it. From the easy install to university of the mount. I definitely recommend this product to anyone!!

The mechanism for opening the mount and securing the phone makes this a must have for any phone case that, for some reason in 2025, outside of preference, isn't a magnetic/MagSafe case. It simply does a fantastic job holding your phone in place - with or without a case. The suction is strong enough and is secured by a lock, wherever you choose to place or hang the mount. I recommend no other type of mount due to its all-around secure design for securing a phone and itself in place.
