I like this mount due to the fact my cd player is high on dash. Holds very well. Like the design of self clamping the phone when you set it in holster. Downside is cannot use cd player.

Works great, easy to read from drivers view. Reflections are easy to eliminate. Much better than far away reflective dash board mounts. Solid support in CD slot.

We were on vacation, a thousand miles from home, in a rented car, when I realized the magnetic mount I'd brought for my phone wasn't going to work. My local Best Buy had the answer - because the car had a CD player, this CD-mount phone holder was a perfect match. It held the phone (used as a GPS) securely over many miles of rough (and non) roads, with no damage to either the phone or the car. Since returning home, this has replaced my magnetic mount for daily use.

I have been using iottie auto products for last few years. Why do I prefer iottie products? They are extremely easy to use with one hand and reliable.They are always coming with new products and I have found them reliable. Their customer service is great as well. Unlike many other CD slot phone brackets, this one fits *very* tightly in the CD slot. I didn’t even have to use the lever that locks the slot insert into place, let alone the optional shim that makes the insert split out wider. From the picture I was afraid that there was a standoff on the bottom that was going to rest against my radio’s touchscreen, but that’s actually the locking lever, and it didn’t get in the way at all. The phone holder works well. It’s a little fussy, but no worse than any of the other phone holders I’ve tried.

The mobile phone mount fits nicely and easily into the cd slot. The phone is steady and rotates and tilts with minimum effort. This is a good alternative to mounts that use the air vents.

Inexpensive but solid product - only issue is location makes it hard to see the rest of the stereo controls. That is a result of the design and layout of my stereo not the product but should be considered when purchasing this product.

Love this mount for my phone! I can see my navigation software in portrait mode, making street names much easier to read. And it’s so nice to have a secure holder! No more worrying about the phone skating off and onto the floor. Happy.

Works really well. Better than I thought it would in the CD slot. It is sturdy mounting in the CD slot. Perfect height for viewing maps and hands free calls while driving. Adjustable for different cell phone widths. I have an iPhone 6.

I have a dozen iOttie mounts, so am a bit of an expert at least in terms of their products and functionality. Having never tried a CD tray mount, I decided to give this one a try since I like the location. The clamp is very secure; of course it's SO secure that I'm actually wondering if it causes any undue stress on the slot and plastic bezels. That said, the phone holder is minimal. It's a quick-lock and release style which works fine. Where it falls short is that the holder does NOT hold my iPhoneX securely at all. There's just not enough surface area on the jaw and back to give any stability. The phone won't fall out, but it just wiggles more than I like. Finally, the ball-head socket has play in it, despite having the lock-screw tightened all the way. This causes the phone to rotate freely a few degrees and adds to the overall "loose" feel on this mount. My guess is that with the "Plus" sized phones, this looseness will be exaggerated to the point of making this mount undesirable; at least for me.

I needed a place to store my phone in vision for use as Nav tool. This gizmo works like a charm. I don’t use cd in my car so no loss of fidelity from the stereo. I do wish the arm was about 1” longer to clear me from AC controls.

This is a great hands-free mount for the car. We purchased this one because, unlike some units, this one mounts in the CD slot and not the air vents. We thought this would provide less obstruction when cooling/heating the car.

Since CD's are pretty much obsolete this little gadget is perfect to stick in CD slot. Holds phone securely! I drive a JEEP so phone wobbles a little which isn't a problem using GPS. I can see it clearly with no issues. Texts are a different story, a little hard to read but I suppose I could enlarge fonts lol... Or not read texts while driving :o)

Product is completely unobtrusive to my stock player and holds my phone great. Only when I use a case with funny things going on at the back of case do I have a problem with the holder clicking onto my phone.

I appreciate the State of Georgia for doing their best with applying the no phone in hands while driving. This phone holder is perfect for me especially since I don't utilize the CD player in my car which, is where its located in its locked position. It also keeps my phone in reach so I can visibly see it while I'm driving. #NOTEXTINGWHILEDRIVING

Bought this before my trip to Nashville TN this week. Holder fits securely in CD player slot on my car, and you can even play CDs with it installed. Grips phone tightly and is easily adjustable.

Excellent way to keep your phone handy without blocking the view on the dashboard or breaking heater vents. Fits securely in the CD slot. Big enough to hold an iPhone 8 Plus.

Once I figured out how to utilize the attachment, everything has been great. For the price, I have no complaints, and it does an above average job of keeping my device secure.

Bought this because I needed something to hold my iPhone 8 Plus in my truck. I used to have a vent clip one and decided to try this since I never use the CD player in my truck anymore. It does hold in the CD slot very nice. The arms feel a little loose sometimes and the phone doesn't seem to want to stay centered. I think they should have put a lip on the bottom to hold the phone.

I was very picky with the kind of phone mount I was looking for. Wanted something low profile, without any magnets or dash mounting mechanism. This was a great solution as I, probably like countless others, don't use the CD player in my car and it mounts in it very well. In a sense, I enjoy this design even more because it does not obstruct the AC vent in any way. Great solution!
