I bought this for my son who just began driving this year. It works great for him to use navigation while driving.

First off, the product itself is excellent. It mounts easily and securely, and holds my phone in place while I'm driving. One thing that I hadn't considered, however, is that if you center the magnet plate on your phone for best balance, you will block off the sensor that is required for wireless charging (newer model phones). I had to move the magnet lower down on the phone, and now my phone sometimes flops to one side or the other when mounted on the magnet.

I've got it working and maybe the vents in my 4Runner aren't the best for this type of holder; maybe it just isn't quite the right product for a phone the size of an S9+, but it has been frustrating to get into a position that doesn't end up slowly flopping down. Now that I have found what seems to be the one place across three vents that will work, it is working pretty well...

I like the idea of my phone being on a vent and not on the dashboard and I really like the design of this particular one, however, it doesn’t seem to be strong enough for the iPhone 8 Plus. I had to put a flat stone in the bottom of my vent because the clip doesn’t hold the phone up, and every now and then when I turn a corner the clip falls out of the vent. The magnent works great, but the clip is not strong enough for these bigger, heavier phones.

I have tried several types of vent clips for my phone. This one just works the best for the shape of my vents. It's simple to use, you just squeeze to open the clip and insert it into the vent, then let go and it stays. I like that I can see my phone easily and can change the angle when I need to.

The hands free phone holder is easy to use once mounted. The clip was a little large for some vents.

This product was good. It had a very strong magnet that held onto my phone while I was driving.

This phone mount holder has the ability to connect to either vertical or horizontal air vents. I connected this mount to my car in a horizontal position and it works fine. The magnet is very strong and I have never had my iPhone fall off. Excellent product.

I recently moved to Los Angeles and needed something to help get around hands free, it works really well and perfect size. I just attach to my vent and it sits at a perfect level. Sometimes it does come out a little which makes the phone fall but it doesn't happen often.

The iOttie - iTap Magnetic Car Vent Mount Holder is an excellent purchase for a low profile car mount. The magnet is very strong and this mount really does not interfere too much with the airflow from the air vent. I would definitely recommend this car mount.
