Fits easily no shaking and doesn't block windshield

I wanted a magnetic holder for a spot on the dash that had no room for a mount (like a suction or double-sided-tape style). So this CD mount was the answer. I LIKE that the magnet is strong. There is no doubt it will hold. The slight downside is that is takes a little extra pull to get it off, and the positioning of the mount head gets moved. No problem. I just re position it each time. The thing I don't care for is that it has a little bit of vertical "bounce" to it on anything but a smooth road. I like my stuff to be on firm. But it's not enough to warrant rejection. It does a good job, with just a minor bit of downside.

This is a great product to mount your mobile or smart phone as long as your vehicle has a CD Player. CD Players are disappearing in newer vehicles, but I was fortunate to buy a new 2018 Honda that included a CD Player and this product works out perfectly. This is way better than a mount for your air vent or dash.

I don't have any goo places in my car to place any sort of phone holder. Since I don't use CDs anymore, it made great sense to get this device. It locked in tight to the CD slot, and the magnet is very strong. It's a plus since I live around pothole covered roles. This keeps the phone in place yet easily accessible.

There are other car mounts for mobile phones that will do the job, but this one is the best that I’ve seen! It’s not a claw a tight clip that is difficult to handle with one hand, it is magnetic and easy to manipulate. It doesn’t slide on a vent, it fits easily into my CD slot – which I don’t use anymore.

My husband and I each bought one of the phone holders that slides into the air vent slots and both broke within two weeks (and they honestly kept sliding around even before they broke). We traded them in for the CD Mount phone holders and LOVE them so far! They are much sturdier and very convenient.

If you’re like me, the cd slot on your vehicle no longer serves a purpose. This phone holder remedied that and places the phone the perfect distance away from me while driving. It’s sturdy, easy to rotate, and I don’t have to worry about tearing a hole in my dash to remove it when necessary.

This works well. The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone without worrying about the phone falling.

This is a great product. Several people in my family have one and we all love it! It is a great use of the unused CD player in most older cars and it doesn't block my vents or my radio and is away from the windshield so it doesn't get hot. I recommend this highly!

The ability to actually use my CD slot for more then collecting dust was a great find. Also, since it places my phone with the rest of my accessories panel it keeps everything nice and tidy. Had to go buy a second for the spouse to keep mine from being "borrowed" all the time.

I really like this item. It's convenient and easy to use. I love that it goes in my cd slot. I only wish the magnet were a little stronger. My cell phone stays in place for the most part, but it's not difficult to knock off.

Does a good job at holding a cell phone. Although I would say the only downfall is if your CD player is low and you want to use this to hold your phone for navigation purposes then you might want to consider something different.

This works great for on the go travel! Has helped me with making sure my phone is out of my hand, and is a must for new drivers that love their phones. I would recommend magnet replacements be purchased via amazon, you can get stronger magnet mounts there.

Installation of the holder was easy. I have a Note 4 (in a Defender Case) I had to remount the metal hanger piece a few times. Might be do to the wait of the phone. Once mounted properly, I had no issues.

The magnet is strong this holder doesn't vibrate around while driving around my galaxy s8 stays in place and doesn't fall off even on bumpy roads it seemed a little pricey for me but i figured i would go for it and splurge. im really glad i did

Since we live in the desert suction cups dont work. Finding a holder that would sit on the dash of our car was an issue . This item works great!! Stays put and I can use with my phone or Garmin.

Needed a phone holder that didn't block the air vents, it's cold where I am. I don't use CD's so the CD holder seemed like a good option. I've only used the product for a week but so far so good.

I had some reservations about how well this would hold my 6.2" phone. But after the (easy) installation it hold great. Bounces a little but no problem with rough roads causing it to come off.
