Customers are saying

Customers admire the iTap Qi Certified Wireless Charging Pad, but some have noted concerns regarding the strength of its magnets. Several comments indicate the magnets are insufficient to reliably hold some devices in place. The magnets' weakness has been reported to cause issues with certain phone features. More powerful magnets would improve the overall user experience.

Have a Samsung Note 8 so it's a large phone. This mount has it all, magnetic but with a larger metal piece that is great for my larger phone. Built in Qi fast charging works well! Also, has a quiet fan to keep the phone cool. Great overall mount!

I drive for UBER and this charger doesn't quite keep my phone charge while running the app. It certainly keeps it from draining fast but it cannot provide additioal chaging when the app is on.

The magnets make the Note 8 think the S-Pen was removed. Also, once it gets to 100% it turns wireless charging on and off rapidly. It is highly annoying and for the price I expected it to work like it should. I have no case and am using the charging port and cable that came with it.

I have a Galaxy S8 Plus with an Otterbox Symmetry case (the thinnest one) I tried the weaker magnet because the instructions said the stronger one was for phone cases with layers. It didn't work at all. So I put the stronger one on and it still didn't hold my phone up but I could rest it on my dash. Once I started driving it fell off immediately. The instructions say the Galaxy S8 might overheat but it definitely does. Like almost instantly. As I was driving home from buying this I actually made a pitstop at a different Best Buy to return it. It was 100% not worth the hefty price tag.

So I had hi hopes for this because I really wanted something that could double as both a mount and a charger. Sadly, for my iPhone X, it doesn't really do that. It feeds the phone so little charge, that when utilizing maps to navigate around memphis, the phone actually DIPPED in battery percentage. Going from roughly 60% charged when I started my trip to about 54% charged when I ended my trip using navigation the entire why. I would not recommend this for iPhone X users. In all honesty it might do well with other wireless charging cable phones but it's not for me.

Best of both worlds. I used with the note 8. Mounted it in my car and house. The charging base is detachable via a bolt which screws/ unscrews. I favor this over Samsung's wireless chargers.

Whichever spot you place it in your car with the adhesive, that’s were it will have to stay. You can’t take it with you if you change cars. It is well built but needs a better or more options for mounting. I returned it.

I loved the charging mount it was easily accessible but the only defect was that the magnets did not last as long.

This was the first wireless charging dock I found and I had been looking for something like it for a while. I didn't expect perfection but not falling completely apart would have been nice. The magnet wasn't strong enough so my phone fell even with no case on. The sticky pad they include with it doesn't stick. It wouldn't even work on my desk instead of the car because it can't hold the phone up. I would avoid this one altogether.

I like the fact that it’s magnetic - a lot! Unfortunately when I bought it- i assumed it was for all smart phones - bc it didn’t say otherwise on the outer packaging/ Box. However when I was stumped by the fact that it wasn’t charging my phone as well (which was the reason I purchased it!) I looked it up- and it doesn’t work on iPhones. When I went back and looked at the box - it says (in small lettering on the lower right hand side of THE INNER FLAP! ) that’s it for Samsung phones!

The magnet on this was INCREDIBLY weak. Every bump I hit sent my phone flying to the floor, and my car has a fairly smooth ride. Ended up returning before I even made it home.
