The Roomba works pretty well. We've gone from sweeping every day to only once a week. It does a pretty good job picking up the dog hair around the house. It has trouble getting the dog hair close to the edge of rugs. The sweeper brush pushes the hair into the edge of the rug and then the vacuum can't pick up the hair. Also, it isn't as smart as the makers claim. Some times it will spend the entire cleaning cycle on a single room and other times it will cover the whole house. It also can't find the base when it needs to charge. Some times it even runs over the base and tries to vacuum it up instead of docking. Overall, it still beats having to sweep up dog hair every day!

Works great. Reliable and does the job. A little loud, but all vacuums are. Very thorough. Scares my dog, who wants to attack it, so comes with free entertainment value.

We got this on sale and it has definitely been worth the price. At first we were a little hesitant watching it bump into the walls and zig zag around the room. But by the time it completes its cycle it more than covers the entire area we were expecting it to. It is perfect for our basement, we schedule it once or twice a week, and it keeps spiders from building webs in the corners and picks up any litter our cat drags from her litter box as well as does a great job picking up any pet hair. I am very tempted to purchase another one just so I don't have to keep moving it from floor to floor to vacuum the house.

I bought this as a gift for my dad for Christmas and he absolute loves it. He said that it picks up so much, even when he thought the floors where already looking clean. Easy to setup and use.

This is our first robotic vacuum. Very surprised and pleased with the ease of setup right out of the box. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Does a great job on all surfaces. Great purchase decision.

I haven't let it run until the battery needs recharging but so far it's working great and isn't as loud as I thought it would be. My pets aren't as intrigued with it like the regular vacuum.

I love that I can set up a certain time and date for my roomba to clean my house! It is great on carpet as well! Only downside that it is noisey so I turn it on when I go to work

I had my doubts about a robot cleaner but this thing works great. It keeps the carpet looking fresh! I would recommend getting an additional virtual wall.

The iRobot Roomba 655 does a fairly good job in cleaning most of the nooks and crannies of a room. Its path appears to be chaotic, but eventually it does a reasonable job of picking up most of the dust, debris, hair, etc. The suction is not as powerful as a regular vacuum cleaner, but it does all the work by itself and gets into tight spaces where one is normally loathe to vacuum manually. It is a great device for folks who hate vacuuming on a regular basis.

Picked this up on sale. Could not be happier with my purchase. The scheduling is nice and does a good job around the house.

Roomba works great!! Always picks up a lot of dust and does a great job reaching as much of the room as possible.

This little vacuum does a great job picking up the small stuff(Dog hair and crumbs) on a daily basis. Doesn't replace our Dyson vacuum when we really want to get a good clean though. We are happy with the overall performance but it does get stuck on thicker rugs so we have to baby sit it a little more than we wanted to. Overall it does what it is supposed to do.

We've had our for 2 weeks now and love it! Great for picking up cat little and fur off the hardwood floors. Does great on carpet too. We do have to keep our two cats' toys picked up or it can get stuck on them, but generally it does its thing and docks itself. We set the timer for it to run while we're gone during the day. We haven't ran the regular vacuum yet, but probably should to touch up here and there from time to time.

Cleans very well. Goes all over the house and returns to base when complete. Fun to watch!

Does a great job. Even gets under furniture that I can't get with a vacuum.

I am very pleased with my Roomba. I had wanted one for a while, but couldn't justify the price. I finally decided that it was worth it and I am so glad I did. We have laminate floors throughout our main floor with a few throw rugs. We also have 3 kids. I am very impressed with how well the Roomba picks up everything. I haven't used the scheduling feature yet.

Vacuum runs with minimal noise, and has helped reduce the amount of pet hair in our home. We run it daily in the evenings, as it gets stuck under our couch and we don't want it to be stuck while we're not home. I'd suggest a test run before you program it to run when you're not home so you know if there will be any issues.

I have 2 Persian kitties I didnt know how they would react. I used it the first time it works great goes over floor mats and cleans them and the ktties watched but was ready to attack if they felt threaten. Roomba completed it's job without being chased by kitties and went back to it's docking station.

I am very pleased with how well my "darla" has picked up pet hair and dirt! Yes, I named my roomba! She's my maid! I used to spend 3 to 4 days a week sweeping and having this roomba, I use her maybe once a week. Picks up cat litter very well along with my long hair. I clean my roomba almost every time after I use it, my long hair tends to build up pretty quick. I have a short carpet rug in my livingroom and it does great on that however the roomba will not go on my shag rug. I have noticed twice now that she has shut herself off, not sure why it'll randomly stop. Overall, this was a very logical purchase for me and couldn't be happier. Also love the virtual wall.
