Great job cleaning. Dog friendly. Goes back to dock when done

Purchased with the Roomba 980... the Roomba 880 kept getting stuck on the one of the rug and it would happen multiple times. It's a large area rug and don't wanna replace it. I put the Roomba 980 in the same room and worked better than the 880. Returned it and got another 980. Like the Roomba 880 but the 980 worked better.

I have a small 1,800 sf home and it will cover it all in the 3 days I set per week.

We have a lab mix dog who sheds profusely and this Roomba 880 seems to pick up more dog hair than our old vacuum cleaner. That being said, it sometimes misses small areas of sand and/or outdoor debris that our dog tracks inside. Overall, we're glad we bought it.

All three families who received this item as a gift were completely satisfied.

Amazing little toy to keep the house clean. Real good to take care of dust.

We had to return it and get another unit. The first unit worked great for the first two weeks and then it stopped working properly. Example: staying in one spot circling, wouldn't dock itself even when we pushed the docking button.

it works fairly well but ignores the virtual wall at times and does not pick up large clumps of dog hair.

One virtual wall did not function properly but Customer Service worked with us and is sending a replacement. The only other problem is that the rollers will will clog up when vacuuming our wool rug so we have to work around it. Otherwise it does a good job and we like it.

My first one. I like a lot but I would look to upgrade if I had to get another one.

So was a little hesitant, but the price was right and reviews were above 4.0 Good. 1. Cleans well, very few things this will not pick up. 2. Pretty easy to set up and schedule 3. Easy to remove the dust and dirt bin. 4. Battery last long enough to clean a 1000 square foot area before recharge. Bad??? Could have been the "nut" that set it up. 1. Long hair can wind around the front roller causing it to drag and leave marks on the floor....solution I check every 2nd cleaning to keep the front roller wheel free ( easy to remove, clean, and re-install). Wet mop to remove the streaks. 2. Docking station has to be "seen" so Roomba can find it, otherwise will run until battery runs out. Solution: changed first location to a more open area. Have to admit I am a skeptic, but am pleased with this purchase. Is it as thorough as a manual vacuum cleaner..no, but it does cut down the cleaning time significantly and my wife and I value our free time. Now if we could only get it to dust the furniture.

We love our Roomba. I just wish it was thinner. We had to raise our furniture so it could fit under it, but that was not a big issue. It also destroyed my tree skirt but hey, you win some and you lose some.

My wife loves her irobot. We have it scheduled every day to vacuum. It's amazing how much dirt it picks up. There is no issues with it going from hardwood to carpet. I no longer have to apologize for tracking in dirt from my work boots. We have the cleanest floors now. Highly recommend.

We absolutely LOVE our roomba. It was not cheap and definitely an investment but I’m so glad we chose to get it. Now I don’t have to kill myself trying to keep my floors clean. Perfect for dark colored floors that shows every speck of dirt. Buy one, you won’t be sorry!!

Happy wife happy life. I gave this to my wife as a gift for our anniversary and she loves it. We have 3 kids, a dog and 2 birds in our house and this little Robot has joint the family in the perfect time !! a must for every home. Thank you ROOOOOOMBAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Irobot was highly recommended by both of my sons. My only regret is that I did not buy one sooner. In fact, we are so pleased that we have named the Irobot "Buddy". Thinking Buddy needs a friend...looking for another good buy.

I am very happy with my purchase, although it sometimes does not find its way back to the dock. The lighthouses are finicky too sometimes. Overall I would strongly suggest if you have pets and high traffic areas where you don't have time to do regular vacuuming.

It is very nice tool to have one at home, but a little bit noisy with a baby in the house.

Awesome for it's intended use!! Does not have the technology to sense if about to suck up unintended items..so if you have power cords, papers, etc on ground it will suck up! Price point should be closer to $300-$400

With large dark area rugs and a long haired white dog we needed assistance in keeping our home clean in appearance. Unfortunately, this unit does not do the trick. We will keep the roomba for superficial daily vacuuming of dust and debris, however, a cordless "pet" vacuum will be our "go to" appliance for more effective cleaning.
