I press the button to start it each day as I leave for work and when I come home from work the floors are cleaned. It is the best Christmas present I gave myself.

We used this robot vacuum cleaner in our 1600 sq ft single-story house which is mostly carpeted with some tile floors. The layout is a bit complex with a central "great room" and all the others rooms opening off this one. We tried locating the docking station in this room or in the kitchen. In neither case did the cleaner get to all the rooms and it took three cycles of charging to do the parts it got to. We found we had to move smaller items of furniture off the floor and it had trouble with the small tassels on a mat so we had to take that up too. It took all day for 3 cycles; quite a long time for everything to be off the floor which was needed because the robot didn't do one room at a time (the manual warns of this) but could return to a room or area several times during one cleaning cycle. It s also a bit noisy and probably would be too noisy to run overnight, although we didn't try this. Overall, it cleans well but has trouble with complex layouts and takes much longer than doing it by hand would.

I got this for her for a gift and it substantially lessens the amount of vacuuming she has to do. It is not the best vacuum you will ever see, but it does work really well and really lengthens out time necessary between running the big one. It keeps our dog hair cleaned up off of our dark hard wood floors. Great Gift! I scored some big husband points :)

great product and we are getting very good cleaning result. The only question is sometimes the device lose the charge station

My Roomba 880 (we call her Abby), has exceeded my expectations! I had new wood floors put down and knew I would need help keeping them dust free. I use it primarily on my first floor, which is now almost 100% wood flooring. I have also brought her to my upstairs level and let her do the bedrooms, which are carpeted. I could not believe what she was able to get up - she is great for getting under the beds. I hear there is a new model out - I may have to put that one on my Christmas list and have a designated Roomba for my upstairs too!!

This is a great vacuum, it is so easy to clean the floors now. Rumba is navigating between my five room with no problems, it takes a while for job to be done but there is nothing left the floor.

The iRobot Roomba 880 has a very good suction power. You can also program it to clean your house while you're not at home.

We have a shedding dog that was making my life difficult. I love my new Roomba! I run it about every other day, sometimes every day. I'm amazed how much dog hair it picks up even running it that often. I'm also amazed at the dust particles it picks up. We have carpet, tile, and some wood floors. Roomba 880 travels freely from one room to another. However, I also like the towers (4" tall) that will keep it in just one room if I want it to completely clean one room. Which brings me to cons - although I gave Roomba 880 '5 stars', it's not perfect. Without the towers, it runs from room to room without completely cleaning any of them. The battery will run out before finishing all of them (this said, the battery is still long lasting). This works if you are doing a light touch up before company, but not a complete clean. Also, the dirt receptacle is small (8"x4"x2"); with reason - this is not a full size vacuum. I think if I did not have a shedding dog, the size of the dirt receptacle would be fine. This really isn't too much of a problem though. The Roomba 880 will notify you that it is full, you empty it, and it will then continue to vacuum the carpet from where it stopped. Pros vs Cons: I love it!

Did a lot of research on robotic vacuum cleaners and this is by far the best. Can he scheduled automatically and does multi-room. The older versions had to be taught how to clean - sensing technology is awesome and does an awesome job cleaning. Hepa filtration is a plus. Got it for 15% off Best Buy.

Ms Roomba 880 is a dream come true. I have a chocolate lab, so pre Roomba I was sweeping my floors daily and then pull my vacuum out to get the rugs just to keep up with the endless shedding and extra dirt that naturally comes with having a dog. That all stopped the minute I unpacked Roomba. I have her set to go once a day. She's quieter and smaller than my original vacuum - so No longer wasting my time cleaning my floors or struggling to get the vacuum out of storage.

Easy to set up and convenient to use. This unit cleans well but may not reach areas where there may be an object detected.

This has been a great change to my housekeeping routines. I've had several vacuums that couldn't handle my & my boyfriend's long hair. This picks it up, and is easy to remove hair from after its cycle is over. It's also much quieter than I'd expected. I've used it on wood laminate and carpet, and it's done very well on both surfaces. My friends are getting tired of hearing me go on and on about it, but the Roomba 880 is fantastic :)

So I have allergic reactions to vacuuming. Hives, nausea, cardiac disturbances, and soforth....Not so with my Roomba! It goes under the beds, couches end tables and such. I think it removed some fossilized carcasses from under the bed. It does a great job. It is easy to empty as well. I love the fact that it is brushless, which makes it easier to clean up. Bottom line? It vacuums while I am doing something else. It will finish vacuuming and when done, wander back to its docking station to recharge itself. Apparently, owners will name their little robots. Hmmm...Right......mine is named "Lurch". I highly recommend this machine...Enjoy!

Love it! I've used it every day since I got it and I am amazed of all the dirt it picks up. The best part is that it we've been forced to keep things off the floor (I have a toddler) so we can run roomba. My house looks and feels cleaner. My husband was not convinced it would be good but he loves it as much as I do.

The Roomba 800 was a good buy.. It saves me a lot of work. all I have to do is let it do the work for me. I am very pleased with my purchase. The Roomba works really good on my tiled floor and does a great job on my carpet.. I would highly recommend the Roomba 800 for your carpet needs

I don't know how I went so long without her. I named her Angie after my Mom. I have a German Shepard that sheds enough hair to produce another dog daily. I program Angie for a daily clean on my main floor hardwoods and tile. I haven't used a regular vacuum yet since I purchased her. She pics up all the gritty dirt my Bella tracks in that gets in between the grooves of the floors. So remarkable. I'm ready for another for the upstairs.

This unit is all that was expected. Cleans great. Easy to setup and use. Picks up better than a dyson on my carpets

When I got my new dog I knew that I would have to vacuum frequently. I soon discovered that I would not be able to keep up with it. A friend suggested the Roomba 880. The price was steep but if it could do the vacuuming for me it was worth it. I have now suggested it to several friends who have made purchases too. I run the Roomba every day and I am amazed with how much pet fur it gets. I especially like the way it gathers the fur from around table legs and chairs. I have not used my other vacuum for 6 weeks now. It is well worthwhile for those of us who dislike cleaning and like a clean floor.

You learn what stumps it and it does a great job otherwise. Stumped by: cords- it will hang up on cords. It can try to go under cabinets and have a little trouble extricating itself. It has trouble docking. Those are my only negatives. It has done a great job cleaning the floor, and is a great time saver! We haven't had it long, and so don't leave it alone while we are learning its habits. You hear if it's having a hard time with an area (like stuck on a cord), and help it. We like it a lot! We weren't getting to vacuuming the floor enough, and this has taken care of that problem. The floor looks great! It's fun to watch it work too. Great for people with not enough time in the day.
