We have this roomba for first floor and it covers about 2000 sq ft. We set it up to clean entire floor once a week and it takes about six hours (3 passes with two recharges). Not sure if this learns, but it has an odd and inefficient coverage pattern. Getting the smarter upgraded version would have been over $1k. It cleans as expected, but I guess I expected more from iRobot. We’ve on,y used it twice, so I am hoping there are some tweaks. We use one-tome pass, otherwise it won’t cover the entire 1st floor. We do like the self emptying feature.

This Roomba is easy to set up and use. The instructions on mapping and use of those maps is sparse. Google and You Tube quickly resolved my issues. Love the self- empty feature.

Cleans up floors very well. I like that it can be programmed from phone. I do not use the mapping feature, I just let it run around the entire floor. I don't like that it does get stuck in the floor window rails because it doesn't come with the sensors previous models came with. I love the self emptying feature but the bag fills up way to fast, especially if you have pets. Overall pretty satisfied.

Love this Roomba! It’s worth the money to get this unit. Cleans great. Notifies you when clogged or stuck. Knows when you leave the house to run. Set up cleaning schedule.

Thinking of getting a Roomba? Just do it! I am so happy I finally decided to make the purchase. I was initially concerned because our house has an odd layout with lots of furniture and decor. This Roomba maneuvers around everything perfectly! It’s been an absolute lifesaver by taking care of the daily vacuuming task. It frees me up to get other things done and keeps our floors looking fresh and clean. There are four humans living in the house plus a dog and cat. We have hardwood floors, area rugs, and throw rugs. It has no issues transitioning through them. I’m amazed at how well it does on the carpets. I think it does better than my regular vacuum! The app is easy to use and gives you the maintenance needs of the Roomba. I will never live without a Roomba again!!!

My wife and I talked about buying one of these for over a year. We looked at all of the brands and features. Most of these get pretty beat-up in reviews. We decided that this exact model would be the one to buy-- but the price was pretty prohibitive. Once again, Best Buy Deal of the Day comes to the rescue and we got our for a great price. This thing is really something. It really works and performs well on our hardwood, carpets and area rugs. And the automatic empty feature (with a warning light when the bag is full) actually means we do nothing to vacuum except to replace the bag as needed. It would be nice if the bag could be unzipped and emptied rather than replaced-- but that is the only a very minor bug.

Vacuuming is hard to remember when you work long hours. So we would easily forget to do this all the time. I have really bad allergies and a cat. So as you can imagine, my allergies were really bad between the lack of vacuuming, cat hair, ect. Since getting this my allergies has improved so much! We opted for the mid range one instead of the model that maps your house. This one still hits every room. However it had some issues finding the bedroom the first couple of times. It rarely gets stuck and if it does, it’s because we were stupid and left a pair of earbuds or chargers my cord on the ground. speaking of that, the robot is easy to take apart to get stuff like that untangled! I love this thing!

Absolutely the best! This is the second I got for Our home - to cover the 2nd floor! We use both on a daily basis, already scheduled on the app - our house is always superbly clean! It helps a lot to maintain the clean less. The only thing up you need to ask your kids to do is be sure that no legos are left on the floor, otherwise a bye bye legos! :) It does a good job with our rugs, although one of them is very high pile and we just take it off before room a starts his job.

Pros: Vacuum is very effective. It gets our full downstairs. We have it set for every other day. We have a dog who loves to roll in the grass. Not a big shedder, but our house was becoming a hay farm indoors. Roomba gets all that up. Coms: Very noisy. Multiple recharges and the bag fills up several times to get our full downstairs. Not a huge house. And when the bag is being emptied it sounds like a jet engine. Overall:: Great unit, saves us a ton of time. Interface is not too intuitive. Bags seem to be too small.

Getting the self emptying option is 100% worth it. This allows the roomba to operate for weeks without intervention and is great if you want a true hands off experience. Without the self emptying feature, I found myself emptying the built in dust bin 2 or 3 times a week. Definitely worth the extra cost for the external dist bin.

We LOVE our Roomba, we've had it for about five months and we had the opportunity to use it in homes with both cats and dogs, it picked up the hair perfectly. If we have an animal that makes a mess, (like chewing up styrofoam into tiny pieces) I can send the Roomba in and it cleans perfectly. We have never had a problem with it, and the app is very easy to figure out and will tell you when you need to replace certain things. The only downside is it doesn't reach corners, but I bought a handheld vacuum to get those and I don't mind going around with it.

It does a great job and cleans my bedroom three times faster than my 890. The self-clean is the best feature in my view, and the second best is how it hoover in straight lines without too much overlap. It does an awesome job in my 5-room upper floor by resuming where it stopped when going for a recharging. I only regret for not taking the i7+ since I need to clean the rooms most the time on separated time frame. The i3+ maps the ground and display it in the app, but that is just a fancy not-so-useful feature at the end, because you cannot define zones and rooms and still need to pick it by hand, put in the room needed to clean and shut the door. (or use the sensor barrier, that DO NOT come with the unit)

Love it but it is kind of loud. We run at night and would have issue if it was on the same floor. Can get stuck on items left out. Just need to pickup the house before it runs. Overall worth the money.

Love this thing. I can't live without it. It is easy to program. I love that it is able to go back tot he base and unload the dirt on it own.

We have two dogs with an all dirt backyard. We got tired of constantly vacuuming our floor (tile). We run this roomba about three times a day. It leaves the floor extremely clean. Downside is that there is always a sealing problem. And you have to clean the roomba all the time. Other than that great purchase
