Love this robot - auto empty is awesome

It excels on carpets because of the / roller system something that is patented to roomba vacuums only. If you just have hardwood I would recommend another vacuum with more suction - roombas outside the s9 don’t have a lot of suction but make up for it with the 2 roller system.

We have a small dog & it hands the hair well; every two weeks we still do a ‘deeper cleaning’ for hard to reach corners/’congested’ areas that the roomba struggles with

Great vacuum at a reasonable cost

Like the cleaning rollers that don't get tangled with hair. Self cleaning feature is great. Got so tired of having to clean the old vacuum after every use.

Great for houses with pets and kids

Everything was really easy to set up, though I do have a little confusion with the software version my machine updated to right out of the box as it seems to be several behind the latest release listed on the company's site.

Started out great but…

But I do notice stuff left behind on the floor after the job has been completed. So I still have to do some sweeping.
