This Bluetooth receiver is a good product. A little tricky to set up, but after set up is done, works great.

Nice range power volume sound louder then any others

This product is for a vehicle. It does not have a portable power source. The salesmen did not know product. I realized after purchased and opened it up. Then took it back.

Once I finally got this working, I was pleased with the product, but it's not "plug and play" to set up.

The Bluetooth work great but its not easy to connect. I had to remove my car stereo to conect the wires.

my truck has an aux jack in the stereo that i have used to connect my phones so i can listen to spotify. problem is, neither of my phones have provisions for such a connection. they both have some form of sound processing intended to improve sound quality in headphones. this results in no bass and overall low volumes. i can crank my stereo to compensate, but when i turn my truck off and on, the radio defaults to readio... very unpleasant. this little device remedies this perfectly. my phones sound great over bluetooth and had no issue pairing to this device. now for the sucky part, and why i knocked a star off. you HAVE to wire it in. i have no problem with this, but would have been nice to at least have the option to plug it into a cigarette lighter without making your own adapter. i didnt hide this in my dash, like i suspect it was intended to be. it would have gone a long way for user friendliness to have that option. also, i may have missed it but i didnt see any double sided tape or anything to stick it anywhere. mine is placed in a little nook, but this may be an issue for others.

Cannot use full volume range of stereo due to hiss and alternator whine. At only 1/3 volume alternator whine becomes audible. Big problem for wide dynamic range music. I want to listen to my music. Not the alternator. Unacceptable. Contacted iSimple customer support. After two emails to provide requested installation and voltage and ground measurements information they stopped responding.

These adapters are a clever way to stream audio to an old car audio. I saw several models online but decided to buy at the store instead--and this is what they stock. Unlike other models, with this one you MUST wire the power yourself. I'm not about to waste time doing that. Not advertised as such.
