Q: Can I use it for talking through my cellphone? If so, does it include a microphone?
A: No it only works to stream music from the phone.
Q: I bought this to hook up to an indoor receiver. Whats the best way to hook it up to a power supply?
A: All you need is a small 12 volt DC power supply. The receiver power line is clearly marked for polarity. I re-purposed a small wall wart supply and it did the trick. This device works great.

Q: Can I just plug into the aux input
A: Yes, and no. You can plug in to AUX input to deliver audio, but the unit requires external power. I used a 12v "courtesy" jack on the back of my radio and plugged the unit in to aux input located on the back of my radio as well -- hid the receiver in my dash. It is a nice little device, works well and sounds great.
Q: What happens if I get a phone call while streaming music? Can I hear phone ring and audio?
A: the music stops and your phone itself rings iirc. no conversation was heard on the stereo.
A: I use this for a home application to stream music from my phone to older stereo. I don't think the bluetooth signal is more than 30'. But it works flawlessly. The problem was finding a 12v power source for the receiver....I ordered a charger for an amazon alexa dot, which puts out more watts than a phone charger. I simply spliced the charger wire to the musicstream receiver, and voila! No problems and flawless music streaming from my apple music app.
