I use this for a home application to stream music from my phone to older stereo. I don't think the bluetooth signal is more than 30'. But it works flawlessly. The problem was finding a 12v power source for the receiver....I ordered a charger for an amazon alexa dot, which puts out more watts than a phone charger. I simply spliced the charger wire to the musicstream receiver, and voila! No problems and flawless music streaming from my apple music app.
