  • It's NOT a Hammer film

    Directed by Terence Fisher and starring Peter Cushing ...well sounds like it would be a Hamner film. It's 1966 as well. But it is not a Hammer film Still, it's an enjoyable horror film/monster movie with beasties like those in Bava's Caltiki, the Immortal Monster from about six years prior... If you like this sort of thing and Peter Cushing rarely made a bad movie in the '60s then you will enjoy this. Entertainment for us older folks. Teens will ask where Jason or Freddy are hiding.

    Solid low budget viewing movie from England and Peter Cushing . Spotty in plot and pacing but the look and feel of this cheese cannot be dupilcated.

    I saw this movie years ago on Cable and had to have it in my collection. It's a very good transfer for a low-budget film from the 60s.
