A good device with reasonable price

I bought this device to add video functionality to my alarm system. It has been working very well. I can check video online and retrieve the saved video. With the services it provided, the price of this device is reasonable.

    Helps Monitor My Elderly Mother

A friend recommended this camera to me, as a way to help keep an eye on my Mother who is not always able to care for herself. I can check in on her to make sure she is safe, and it brings me peace of mind. Extremely easy to set up - highly recommend to ANYONE with elderly parents!!! Starting with this stand-alone camera, might look into the rest of the system.

Decent features but fell flat when it mattered

Had so much potential but fell short and ended being worthless when it counted. I had a forced entry onto my property, the sensors worked great but the camera failed to record anything. It never detected movement or recorded. I had multiple calls with customer support and their help fell flat like the product. I woke up to vandalism on my property and I checked the camera, as usual nothing was detected or recorded. Returning this item to find a more reliable system. http://www.kpho.com/story/30060389/police-investigating-vandalism-spree-in-ahwatukee?autostart=true

Good addition to iSmartAlarm Alarm but under 720p

Great addition to your iSmartAlarm system but clarity of the video shows under 720p (as boxed is stated 720p) and night vision is horrible since it only had 2 IR blast which is a focused beam rather than a spread beam to cover the viewing area. Pro: Great addition to the iSmartAlarm system. Pan & Tilt. Easy to use with iOS or Android App. No external antenna. Cons: Price point is too expensive given that it is running 2.4ghz. (Other competition has a great 2.4ghz for under $130) Video quality is under 720p. Spotty Wifi connection (for this price point would you think N would provide greater connectivity.). Doesn't have the ability to provide additional SDHC like the iSmartAlarm Spot does. Night Vision is horrible.

I love the iSmartAlarm iCamera KEEP. It is easy to use and set up. Their customer service was very helpful with the question I had regarding my set up. I have recommended this product to several people.

Does not work with 5ghz router

I am running an airport express and there is no option to run only 2.4ghz. The Keep does not allow the setup over 5ghz, big disappointment. Make sure your router can run 2.4ghz only before purchasing.

    Decent but not as advertised

I bought these 100% due to the advertisement that stated "can be used as a stand alone device, with free cloud storage" I followed the directions and set up my cameras and the app. and still had no cloud storage. I was told by customer support (who are never open by the way, and you only get voicemail when they are) to update the firmware. They gave me no direction of how to update the firmware when I asked. I searched online to find directions to update firmware. It only ever crashed my app again and again. Once again, customer support was no help. The video quality as decent. the motion detection was very sensitive and mildly helpful. The audio was great, the pan and zoom worked great. If i wanted to spy on someone this thing would be perfect. However I wanted cloud storage so I could look back if something went wrong. These cameras did not work as advertised and customer support was useless.

    OK security camera

For what it is and what it does isn't bad, and at this price worth a punt. I can only give 4 stars because there is no 2 way audio on this unit.

    Disappointed Twice

I bought two for my home. First one said it had been registered to someone else. Emailed service then called toll free number to get an electronic response there was an error, then hung up on me. Second camera would power up. Totally disappointed and returning to Best Buy in the morning. Complete failure with both.
