Big fan of Steven King’s books, IT holds a special place in my heart. Although I love the movie it not without it’s faults, pacing and found some scenes were not necessary at all. I was expecting them to touch on the cosmic element from the books more but it did not happen. The ending could have been done differently by going into Pennywise past more and what he was. Overall I think the actors did a great job and hope to see a directors cut. If you purchased the steel book you are lucky, the reds in contrast with the blacks really make the cover pop.

I heard reviews saying this was bad and this was great. Well, after seeing it for myself I can say that I thought it was great! I liked better than the first one. Picture and Audio were excellent. HDR was on point. Now I wished I got the SteelBook..

It Chapter 2 was very long, but well worth the wait. Not as good as Chapter 1, Chapter 2 holds it's own and brings closure to the fans of Stephen King and the franchise.

A Solid Sequel

This film gets quite a bit of flack for not being AS good as the first chapter Installment, whether it be because of the elongated runtime or the diminished scares. But I think ultimately this film focuses less on the scares and more on further fleshing out these characters.
From that standpoint, I feel this sequel measures up and solidly closes out the story in a way that’s loyal to the source material.
All that said, this is a fantastic release that comes packed with hours of special features and even a separate documentary that explores the making of both this film and the first installment. Seeing this in perfect 4K is an absolute blast, especially the funhouse scene.
If you’re a true Stephen King fan or a fan of the book, this is a must-own that you’ll thoroughly enjoy having in your collection.

Sufficiently scarier than the first, and I like that they changed the ending, at least from what I know the ending to be from the miniseries (never read the book). There's also one change in death from the miniseries. Agree with others that it's too long, probably by 20 minutes easy. That said, I still don't think they went far enough into the Pennywise backstory as they could have. They give you a couple teases, but that's it.

If you enjoyed the first 'It' movie from a few years ago, or even the tv-mini series from a few decades back, I think you'll really enjoy this one as well. It: Chapter Two is a bit long nearing almost 3 hours run-time, but I felt like the pacing was decent and the pay-off at the end was worth the time investment. I would of liked to have seen a few more Pennywise appearances throughout the early & middle parts of the film, but what is there I enjoyed. My only gripe about the movie are some of the CGI scenes look a little cheesy (not all of them, but a few stick out in a bad way imo). Not sure if it's just an art choice, or lack of budget for some of the animated bits, but with that said, theirs some CGI scenes that are really well done too (like the last act). All in all, I'd definitely recommend this movie to It, Steven King, and horror movie fans.

IT chapter 2 is a really fun movie that is very aware on what it is while adding the book elements in to this remake, i did enjoy the first IT in 2017 and this movie while fun and entertaining film. i will say for those who deal with epilepsy/seizures the climax of the film includes flashes, so if you have any kind of sensitivity to flashing lights i would have a few people with the person to make sure there doing okay. other then that the film is a recommended for those who enjoy the first film in 2017. the steelbook is also have a really cool design with Pennywise with 2 red balloons, and the rest of the artwork did a good job overall.

Granted, not all of the actors delivered their best performances but the overall hate that this film recieved was not warranted. A good film, a solid film. Animated special effects were top notch, A LOT of references to the novel; more than most would realize, even if they were capable of reading above a 3rd grade level and actually picked up the book. The F word arguably being the most diverse word in the English still needs some more multisyllabic vocabulary inserted between the 50 times used in 10 mins. Saying F word repeatedly with next to no other phrases isn't funny, it just becomes mundane.

The First IT Was A Great Surprise & I Enjoyed It Very Much. I Waited To See How They Were Going To Follow It Up, & I Was Not Disappointed. Now The Kids Story Was Always More Compelling & Made For More Fun To See The Loser’s Club Ban Together To Fight Fear. Luckily The Adults Bring That Same Vibe In The Follow Up & Don’t Miss A Beat. Great Fun, Horror, Humor & Surprises Exist In Chapter 2 & Closes Out The Story Better Than The Original! The Cast Delivers, Especially Bill Skarsgard’s Pennywise Being As Pitch Perfect As Before! A Must Watch For Fans Of The First As Well As Horror Fans In General.

Ignore the bad reviews!!! After reading some of them, I was expecting a really disappointing "Chapter II", but I loved this version! It had more humor (as well as more CGI, of course), than the original, and I was more entertained with this version. There were moments that made me jump. The original "IT" was more scary and haunting, but I approve of this updated version of a great novel. This is a fast paced wild ride with some awesome special effects. A truly hilarious dark comedy!

Aside from the incredible amount of cussing, I have been blown away by the new IT movies. Tim Curry was a much better Pennywise and his cult humor made the original but overall these new movies have been quite thrilling to watch. Definitely recommend if you're a Stephen King fan and have yet to see. Still good if you just enjoy a horror movie that actually has plot and a story line. Just do not have any expectations for the new Pennywise if you have seen and loved the original.

I won't say much about the movie itself, because anybody who will be purchasing the 4K Blu-ray of it has most likely already seen it at the theater, or rented it first to see if they liked it. But the transfer itself was excellent. Beautiful colors and contrast, just as you would expect from a 4K transfer of a new movie. It goes without saying that anyone who saw the first half of the movie needs to finish it off with this excellent 4K edition.

There are folks that stated that they thought it was too long... not I. Not drawn out at all. When you have that many stories to tell you need the time to realize what each character is going through. I thought the past scenes were perfectly scattered where they needed to fall. I loved this movie. It had some great special effects and some touching scenes as well. Even had a little humor here and there. Well deserved 5 stars from me! ENJOY!

I'll go ahead and say this. It was a good movie. Part 1 was better (funny thing is, the 1990 miniseries was the same way), but this was a good follow-up. My only problem with the film is that it did feel its runtime. It's almost 3 hours long and I wasn't totally engaged in it. Some of the scenes (the one scene with Jessica Chastain) was directed very well and all of the actors (Bill Hader and James McAvoy) were sublime. The PQ and AQ were very good on this, so for all of that, I would recommend it.
