Still an amazing adaptation of the novel; I grew up with the mini-series making me me check behind my corner at night to make sure Pennywise wasn’t there. I can not say enough positives about this film. Andy Muschietti does a fantastic job in portraying that innocence of childhood that get’s turned shortly into terror.

This is another adaptation of the popular Stephen King novel, much darker than the original TV mini-series. This time around they are splitting the story into two parts, this being part one. It features the characters as children. The second part will feature the adult versions again facing the evil Pennywise the Clown.

The IT movie is not just about a killer clown. The book had very complex characters and the movie does a good job translating that in two hours. The 4K looks great and the special features were a joy to watch. Getting to know the kid actors and Bill Skarsgard was fascinating. Well worth the purchase.

Only complaint is it didn’t come with a slip cover. Such a good movie and a must have horror film for 4k!

Usually horror remakes are low rent versions of the classic they are based on, but that is not the case here. The break down of the story told in separate parts works. The scares are real, and the acting is next level. The director gets the best out of his young cast the way Spielberg always does.

I had no intention of watching this movie when I heard it was coming, because the original was so good. I’m glad I did so. It is hands down one of the best horror movies out. It’s scary in all the good ways. And now is the perfect time to see it as the sequel is only a few months away.

A great adaptation of the Stephen King classic, that's what it is. I loved everything about this movie. All the kids did a great job in their respective role and I was really impressed with Skargard's portrayal of Pennywise. Beautifully acted and directed, I can't wait for the second part.

of the book! Updated for today's audience. I enjoyed the original mini-series but this movie is outstanding! Pennywise is far scarier than the original Much more what I envisioned when reading the book back in 1986 when it was released. Can't wait for Part II to be released.

Looks just as good as it did in the movie theaters. I have a 4k TV with HDR and this just made it look extremely good. I would recommend this movie to people that have people over for movie night as it looks extremely good and is a good scary movie to watch. especially on Halloween.

OK, I admit it. Because I am not a clown fan to begin with, I just couldn't give this movie 5 stars. However, I have to say that it wasn't as bad as I expected--scary as hell, but not as disgusting as I was afraid it would be. At least it didn't give me nightmares! Now I have to see if I'm brave enough to see Chapter Two with the children now grown up. If you like well done scary movies, give this one a try.

I absolutely love this rendition of Pennywise. Film was very entertaining and enjoyable. The lenticular cover for this bluray is a great added bonus. I recommend anyone who hasn't seen this film to watch it. I'm sure there aren't too many who hasn't watched it but yeah.

As a person who’s old enough to enjoy both old as well as revamped “IT” I confess it’s like comparing apples and oranges! Tim Curry, to me, is and always will be Penny Wise! Today’s special affects definitely produced more scares and “hide your eyes“ intensity!

Great remake. Great cast. One of the best horror movie including the classic.

Imo I have to say that this film surprised me on how food it was. I’m not a fan of the MODERN horror genre but to my surprise this movie was very good. Imo it was better than the original IT mini series as the comidic monologue from the cast added humor and enjoyment.

Great remake! Better than the original tv special from the 80s. Both blu and 4k are crisp.

Didn't have the chance to see this in theaters, but the 4k disc on my 55inch Sony did not disappoint. Blanks were nice and inky. Sound was great . The movie itself was really good. Get this if you haven't already. Oh yeah. The steelbook is nice too.

I prefer the original version to the this remake because clowns should be fun and draw someone in versus the scary way that Pennywise is portrayed in the remake. But, it's still a good movie because I enjoy clowns and because it is something to talk about.

As a kid the original scared me. Getting older the movie was more funny that it was anything else. This revamped the story and did a great job at creating tense moments and comedic relief. Richy was amazing in this compared to the original.
