Don't spend your $$ on this one. It does NOT work with the MacBook pro as it states it will. You cannot have both of the USBC's plugged in at the same time as their design will not allow it. They are spaced too far apart. And you lose ports. Just buy the regular one and save $50.

Pros: Solid design and build quality. Confirmed working with dual 4K monitors @60Hz. Cons: Tried 2 NVMe drives, one brand new one and one preformatted, neither showed up in Disk Utility. None of the USB ports worked. The microSD port worked exactly once and stopped recognizing cards on repeat attempts. I have a $25 dock that works more reliably.

It did not work with my mac. Tried installing software and everything still didn’t work.

One of the most interesting products I’ve seen however the NVme gen 4 not gen 3 So don’t expect 7 gb per second speeds Also mine had display port defect, so returned Get hyperdrive with double hdmi.

I had issues when I connected 2 monitors. I was trying to push 120hz at least on each. I lowered the definition and hz’s but the docking station wouldn’t be able to give me the image on both. I would need to disconnect, connect, change settings on my pc every time I connected or turn my pc on.

Nice build quality, appears to be all aluminum, attached cables feel durable. Using with a 2019 16” Macbook Pro. HDMI display output works perfectly (using a 1440p monitor @120hz). The ethernet, 100W PD, and USB ports work as intended with full bandwidth. Have not tested the NVMe drive yet but their website states its given 10gbps of bandwidth so I would expect slightly under 1GB/sec speeds max. Overall extremely pleased with the quality and features.

Seems to work very well with my new ASUS Vivobook S laptop (Win 11). 4K HDMI and power pass-through are up and running, NVMe slot will be put to the test when my new SSD arrives and can be installed. Includes convenient rubber feet to install on "bottom" of docking station for laptops (like mine) that have the USB-C port(s) on the right side -- you just install the new rubber feet and turn it over! Not just for Macs! Smart engineering. Recommended.

Unit looks great. Works well. I was under the impression it would supply enough power to run a few of my peripherals, but it will not.

Excellent product especially with generation 4 m2 solid state drive. Good value for a great product.

Just bought a new Macbook Air and wanted a solution to connect my 2nd screen + other peripherals. I tried several other options until I landed on this gem. It's been working GREAT. Only tip is that I had to reverse the two connections so that my stuff would work properly. Thinking about getting the internal memory for it as well.

Bought this to have dual screen hookups. Everything works great and fast.

Easy to use. But a lot bulky. Maybe use other items because of the big size.

Good little dock for my son’s dorm command center.

Got most of what I was looking for but layout was not great

This works well to connect my tow free standing monitors to my laptop. It will display the mirror image of the laptop screen on one monitor, and a completely different view on the other monitor. I’ve used it for 5 months every day for work with no issues.

this is a great product, $50 bucks off what amazon has it listed for. but alas I couldn't use it due to not having alt display mode on my laptop. this comes with the ability to install an SSD. I bought a 1TB chip and couldn't use it, so I put it in my ps5

Maybe not perfect ergonomically but functions as you’d expect.

Did not work for me, had to return////////////////
