I bought this to connect an old pc to a cat5 internet access point for the original connection failed and was part of the motherboard so it couldn’t be fixed. This works perfectly. I’ve had it for a while and no issues whatsoever. It actually translates a faster connection than the original. Was super easy to set up. Just downloaded the driver , installed the driver , and plugged it in. That was it.

My Ethernet port was damage and I needed a hard connection to the internet (per my job) and they have so many different type of usb-ethernet cords, but my money was tight. I was afraid that since it wasn't top of the line or the basic it wasn't going to be as efficient (I was wrong) it is well worth the price!

This is an excellent item right out of the box. I have a thinkpad and this little adapter was right out of the box. No programming no loading a dvd.

i am a support engineer and was testing a computer's network connection. using this device is very easy and great for troubleshooting.

This product works great! attached my ethernet cable. It came with an installation disc but was a plug and play on my HP laptop.

Worked as advertised. Easy to install. I was wired up and online in a few minutes.

This NIC uses a fairly common/standard ASIX AX series chipset that's supported out of the box on most newer OSes. It's hamstrung a bit in terms of speed by the USB 2.0 interface and only supports up 100Mb Ethernet, but with those limitations in mind it seems to work well. A good choice for a tech's field toolkit or for adding a NIC to a machine with only USB connectivity.

It does exactly what it's supposed...have not had any problems our issues with it.

Works great! If you need a faster connection, then purchase the 3.0 version.

got this for got this for working up in the vacation home because my laptop did not have ethernet so I need it I was doing internet connections and running my wireless and everything for the house up there and so I use this to connect to my laptop Works excellent we're straight have no issues plugging in connect to ethernet phone I have internet right away so it's just something that I was able to configure with my wireless devices that I have and my wireless wraps so this was the easiest and best way for me to connect to those and continue getting power to him while I was trying to configure it
