Problems on Chrome OS

I use Chrome OS and I cannot make changes to camera settings, so on video calls my stream is overly red. It's a clear picture and is brightened up automatically in low light situations. On Mac I can use the Companion app and the result is outstanding. Please improve Chrome OS support.

Posted .Hello and thank you for leaving a review on the JVCU435. In regards to the Companion app not being compatible with Chrome OS, we are definitely working on that. For now, you should be able to adjust settings on a Windows or Mac environment and color settings will save.

Disappointed

My face was just completely over exposed and no setting would fix it. Packed it up and will be returning it. Would recommend sticking with a logitech as they are better able to control brightness of the full image. Also the remote does not come with a battery you will need to buy one. So if you are planning on using the remote buy a battery right away.

Posted .Aleks, we are sorry to hear the JVCU435 made such a bad impression. When it comes to settings such as brightness, that is a configuration to be adjusted in the app you are using. There is the companion app which allows you to adjust settings such as the brightness, hue, contrast and more. The app is available on the manufacturer's website and is free of charge. If in the future you experience troubles with our devices, please feel free to reach out to the support team on the casing to speak with a rep and they will be glad to assist you in properly getting set up.

Huge upgrade!

Huge upgrade from the built-in camera on my laptop. Purchased this because I do a lot of meetings and the laptop camera wasn't cutting it. This j5create product had much better lighting and audio . A+!
