With 2 GB flash cards, I am able to off-load sensitive data immediately, and not worry about hackers or anybody accessing sensitive data when I switch from application to application. just close the flash, take it out, and put it back on-line when I need it. Don't ask me where I got the 2.0 GB flash cards.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I run a music recording and editing system off an older Macbook Pro which only has two USB ports (both 3.0) and requires connections for sound interface, midi interface, external hard drive, keyboard/mouse, iLok Usb key. All critical components where performance matters and at USB 3.0 speeds is pushing the limits. The j5create USB hub has done a nice job. While the cord is longer than many of the others, it is still short when trying to keep cable management off the desk. But the only times I have had performance issues are when I have too many web pages open in Safari. While I can't change that my laptop doesn't have USB-C, I certainly wish I could have gone with that, but for now this hub does the job.
