Purchased three for business computers and used velcro to attach under the desktop. Works great and is out of the way. Extra USB hubs are always at hand.

Super easy to install, and frees up other ports. No need to bend and search around for an available port. This is one of the best little gadgets ever.

It does what it says. It is externally powered, but sometime it interacts strangely with my laptop and will shut down attached items, which is a relatively small problem (which could easily be the fault of the laptop). If I had it to buy again, I would probably get the version with more ports.

I bought an open box alienware dream laptop that I always wanted and for such a cheap price the guys at the store showed me how to hook it up to make sure that it would work ok with the rift. I have to admit it works just as perfectly as it does on my high end desktop and its portable to boot. I can fit the laptop, all the Oculus gear and it even has leftover room for my switch and its accessories in an extra durable backpack . Very pleased with this purchase!

This USB Hub is very fast and easy to use with its plug and play technology and is one of the few USB Hubs that actually work on the PS classic.

The product works as mentioned. I have connect 4 devices at once and it works fine. Make sure that you connect the adapter when connecting 3 or more devices in order to get the desired speeds.

The j5create 4-port USB 3.0 hub is a great, portable hub. It's compact, and while a few more extra ports would be nice, it's great for the size and price point.

I bought this hub to use on my second laptop. I take this laptop when I travel. This hub is small, and having it powered allows me to connect devices that run better when powered.

I was concerned that my new laptop only had two USB ports, but this has been a great alternative. It is there when I need to add on, but doesn't take much space given it is powered by the computer itself

Works as advertised. Solid well made unit. Have not needed the power supply with it yet. Usb has provided enough power for all connected devices.

It's nice shaped and easy to store away, while making it easier to hook to back of iMac. I don't use the power adapter and it still works with 2 or 3 hook ups.

Very old (10 years) flash drive pins stuck in 3 month old computer USB port. Would have had to go without computer for 16 days. Not sure whether warranty would cover it. If not it would have been expensive since the ports are attached to the motherboard. So for $29.99 got this fantastic device. My computer only had 2 USB ports in front - now I have 4. This makes it so easy to make multiple copies of documents & pictures at once. 3.0 so super fast. Has a nice long cord to reach outlet. Can be used to charge your cell phone too.

Bought this for travel, as I lug enough electronics around, this was perfect and worked great with or without the included power supply.

Will allow use with or with out DC power input. - I like the chord, truly allows for optimal data flow. - Confirmed functionality Backwards and forwards, working on a USB 2.0 port (slower but still works), Works with a USB C 3.1 adapter (Very fast even with out DC power plugged in)_ - Nicely spaced ports so even wide dongles like the Wireless X-box 1 adapter work no problem. Overall I am very satisfied with this in both form and function. Would definitely recommend.

I use two 3.0 external hard drives on my computer. One is always connected, and the other occasionally to use as a mirror. The computer has only one 3.0 USB port on it, but my file transfers using this hub are fast.

I'm using this as a way to make taking my laptop home quick and easy without the cost of a dock. Works great for that for my needs as all I'm using is the USB connections. Only thing keeping it from five stars is the clunky layout.

Haven't had any issues at all. I purchased for use on my laptop, and really like it's slim design as I have it mounted on my laptop lid. I really like that is came with a power adapter so I can use to charge my devices or power peripherals if necessary. Highly recommend.

I've been looking for something like this for a while and finally found one that doesn't require an AC adaptor and can get power from the computer. Now I can plug in more than one external storage, my mouse, and my phone on the go. Love it. Very sleek looking too.

Not much to rave about on this product, it's a usb extender, it does what it's supposed to do. Had it for about a month now and I'm satisfied. Doesn't seem cheaply made or anything like that, doesn't seem to slow anything donw or have poor/wavering connections.
