This hub is great but requires a power adapter to work, which resulted with someone I work with plugging in the wrong adapter which shorter it :( The Belkin however is powered by the USB port & comes with an ethernet port.

I'd recommend this to anyone needing to expand their usb 3.0 ports.Unlike many "usb 3.0 hubs", this one comes with it's own power supply.

Needed more space for usb and this solved that issue and with it being piwered allowed me to connect multiple hardrives easily

I got this to extend the USB Ports on my pc. It works great and keeps the speeds it should!

No complaints besides the included cable length really. It's pretty short. Works with all my USB devices and let's me connect more to my limited USB 3 ports

Taking it out of blister pack took time thus was very frustrating. The short cable could be longer. Instructions printing could larger and easier to understand thus that would stop asking others what does this mean.

Works perfectly for what I intended it for. I can hook up multiple USB Flash Drives to it, and back up my bowling league to them all without having to connect each one to my tablet individually.

Not much beyond it works or doesn't and this one works. I will say the for factor is very nice for travel as well - and looks good on a desk.

This help get more usb hookups on my laptop and easier to connect the with out the tight fit on the side. Some flash drives are to big to run side by side.

I had a difficult time deciding between this USB hub and the Insignia one. Ultimately, I chose this because of its aluminum body. It is tiny which was surprising but I’m happy with that as it doesn’t get in the way. I like the even spacing of the ports and that the cord from the computer to the device is longer. My laptop often sits on an arm above my desktop, so this allows the port to sit flat on the desk below my laptop.

This space saving device is awesome for charging multiple devices at the same time or providing a plug in for USB devices that need to stay connected - for example my wireless cell phone charger. I also like that it has one connector on the end in case you have a USB cable that it slightly wider like the one to my wireless phone charger. Also like that it plugs directly into an outlet and you don't have to use up one of your computer USB ports.

This appears to be the best hub available. However, I would prefer one that projects out of the side of my SurfacePro4. This one connects via USB with an extended line that I run behind the device. A bit cumbersome, but certainly fits my needs.

I bought this because I needed extra USB ports on my Playstation 4, mainly for my external memory, works flawlessly

As a dongle, we had no problems with it. It's easily recognized by the computer and works with no issues. Not more to say.

I just needed an extender to get convenient access to the USB 3.0 ports in the rear of my desktop PC. This did the trick with no apparent affect on transfer rates. I do not use the charging port or the required DC adapter for such.

Brought home all my work computer stuff, including two monitors, during the pandemic. So I needed to run multiple USB devices on USB 3.0. After researching similar devices, this one was the top rated hub, and for good reason. It's aluminum body is sturdy, the layout of the ports is well thought out and the power input doesn't crowd out space for the main USB port at one end. It's also extremely compact.

Even with seven USB ports on my new workstation, I still needed more ports for charging phones, running my artist tablet and charging its pen, and providing convenient access for my SD card reader. Phones, of course, need to be charged and this splitter provides the ability to plug it directly into power to enable you to not only operate USB devices but charge them as well. The power cord is generously long and the USB attachment cable is adequate as well.

Nothing fancy, does as advertised. I've had every port filled and with a variety of devices, and I had no problems.

This usb hub has worked very well for me when I am using it with laptops that have only one port available. I have used it on old laptops that had damaged hard drive cables when the users tried to replace the hard drive and I was using the only usb port for a external usb to act as the main drive. This let me use a thumb drive to load operating system on the other usb drive and make the laptop useable.

I choose this one because it has the capability of being powered by an external power supply. This was important because I planned to use it with a Windows 8.1 tablet that did not provide enough power for a DVD Rom Drive.
