This works perfect for adding more hardware to computer. Needed extra usb ports for second printer, fitbit, etc

I had a mouse and keyboard that kept cutting out on me. I figured out that their little USB receivers (or whatever those little plug in items are called) were just a little too far away for them to function properly. Grabbed this hub to get those where they needed to be and now they both function impeccably and I gained a few USB ports in the process. Great buy!

j5create's 4-Port 3.0 USB Hub doesn't seem to be universally loved, but so far it's doing what it's supposed to. I leave it plugged in all the time, but I unplug the AC power line when the Hub is not in use.

Works well with my iMac. No issues noted with devices connected such as printers, flash drives, and card reader

The aluminum housing makes it durable and a nice clean finish. USB ports are 3.0 which is great for faster speeds. Everything is working great on it. No random disconnects or anything like that with anything.

Purchased this USB hub to replace an old hub that broke when unplugging the cable from the main jack. This hub is extremely well made and compact. I did not try to use it without the included power supply.

This is a great small size, but big in productivity. Had a perfect configuration of ports and also had one which was 3.0.

This is a great addition to my Mac. One of my USB ports on the back of the computer was starting to act funny, so I got this and plug everything into it instead of the ports on the back. Problem solved.

Excellent product. No need for a power cable and allows for 4 extra USB for my Surface Pro.

I needed a powered USB 3.0 hub to put ports on my desk because the ports on my machine (mid-sized tower) were too far away. This was the only one I found in the store. It works seemlessly with my system running CentOS 6.5 (Linux distro). Most of the devices I have plugged in are USB 2.0 but it works with those and the one USB 3.0 device I have and the OS properly identifies all of them. The only issue I have is that it doesn't appear to properly power a HP bluetooth speaker I got as a freebie at this years SCaLE.

Useful if you want more outlets. It is small and discreet so it works

Works great for extra USB ports. Laptops don't have as many now and this allows all devices to be used!

bought this originally because I updated my computer to a Surface Pro. Sadly, some of my sd cards were not compatible with it. So instead of buying more sd cards, I bought this & it works well.

Gives you 4 extra 3.0 ports with 1 port having power on all the time for charging accessories and power port puts out 1.5 amp charging which is better than most brands only put out .5 amp charging.

Seems to be a reliable USB hub for USB 3.0, but occasionally loses connectivity with my Surface Pro 3; never seems to lose connection to my Windows 7 laptop.

The 4 port USB hub makes it very convenient to use my computer. I wish my computer had more slots however since it doesn't the j5 has made that possible without the stress. Oh and very reasonably priced.

This works perfectly not one problem and I have a MacBook Pro . I love this and highly recommend this.

This item seemed like it was going to be a great usb 3.0 hub, but upon adding all of my devices, my mouse was annoyingly skipping around the screen instead of moving smoothly like it was supposed to. After doing some research, it turns out many usb 3.0 hubs conflict with 2.4ghz wireless devices' usb transmitters. So I just went back to a 2.0 hub - I didn't have any device attached that was going to really take advantage of the extra speed anyway.

Easy to install and just what I needed to expand the number of USB ports on my desktop.

When my laptop was at home, I had to juggle USB ports all the time. Now I can leave everything plugged into the j5create. And it's ready for when I upgrade my computer and get USB 3.0.
