I only had 2 USB hubs on my laptop and I needed more for 3 external drives and a CD/DVD burner/player. This came in mighty handy and serves the purpose very well.

I bought this hub to expand my usb3 ports of my pc tower, because it sits a bit far away from my desk and I wanted something to easily plug in my flash drives and keyboard and mouse into. It works great, my only problem is that the cable that connects the hub is really short. If you're going to get this hub, def. Look into whether you'll need a USB extention cable or not.

Needed a powered USB 3.0 Hub. The choices were this one, a Belkin and the Insigna generic one. I chose this one because of the "high-power" port and the ability to be either bus or wall powered. Works good and generally does the job, but even the high power port will not turn on my portable HDD when bus powered. Not a deal killer, but not always ideal to have to use the AC adapter.

Bought this to add more USB ports to my gaming console. Works as expected no issues plus it doesn't take up a lot of space which is a plus.

Should of shopped around first. Expensive for what it is. On the positive side it is made of metal and very durable.

This external USB 3.0 hub provides an easy-to-use and portable USB 3.0 hub. I use it when transferring data between external USB drives. The power cord, provided with the hub, is long enough to easily reach from the power plug beneath my desk to the hub on the desk. Excellent, reliable device.

The j5create 4-Port USB Hub comes in very handy if you have an iMac and a tight space behind the PC. I leave it connected and not have to worry about getting behind to connect a USB cable. I now have several ports in front of the PC. The only thing I would like to change on this hub is the port that also charges. It would be great if I could charge my iPad.

I use these for my multiple camera readers and they have fast transfer speeds. Also one of the ports acts as a charger

I love the fact that I am getting rid of the wire mayhem. This gadget really let me clear my desk of wires.

The j5create 4-Port USB 3.0 hub is a great addition for an iMac user needing the USB ports. Connect to the back of the iMac, sit it up front and there is no need to move the iMac around to get to the back for an available USB 3.0 port. It'll charge an iPhone and an iPod, but not an iPad.

Tthis is a great hub for a laptop. It takes very little space and works with or without a power source. It also has a charging slot that works well.

Works as it should and thankfully has a detachable USB cable so it can be removed when traveling and not get bent or broken like my last one. It came with a power adapter but I haven't needed it yet and works fine with out it. Glad it has a power adapter for more power hungry devices.

Solid aluminum construction. I can charge my iPhone, my Kindle and a couple of wearables at the same time. Only the charging port works for the iPhone. I got the unit on sale for $25. I wanted to buy a second one but regular price of $35 is a bit steep. At that price I will wait.

I originally purchased a 3.0 hub from another office store and it just didn't work. I returned it and went directly to purchase the J5 create hub. I needed the 3.0 for downloading video from surveillance cameras. Worked perfectly the first time I inserted the 3.0 USB drive! So grateful! Still using it with NO problems!

Be careful with this item. The pins are delicate and easily bent for the compact flash. However, it is fast.

I only have 2 USB 3.0 ports on my computer and needed more. This works great for my non-essential devices. Plugging in my USB drives and also works great for cameras and other things. I haven't tried putting a dedicated device on it, but I imagine it would be just as good.

Compact USB Hub works well. No issues with it at all.

The performance has been excellent and has enabled me to connect multiple devices to my PC without any degradation or problems.

A bit pricy, but a good product with multiple features. …I actually went back and bought a second one. One for home and one for the road.

I use it everyday, need it because I am not exclusively working from home and I need to plug in more then two USB devices as I would no have to if I were at work because my PC has 4 USB port on its own. My laptop only has 2 and my wireless mouse takes one.
