If you have a computer with just 2 or 3 USB 3.0 ports , this is what you need. Very easy to install, you just need to plug the device into an outlet and then into a USB port of your PC and then now you got four more USB 3.0 ports! Simple!

This product works as advertised but on my system I found that it works very well without the augmented power connected. I have two HDs attached and an additional connector for my IPhone!!!!

I need more USB ports than my laptop offers for doing a specific task I do routinely. This hub is perfect for me. It provides 4 ports, as in the name, and is very lightweight. It plugs directly into my laptop or I can use outlet power. When the gizmos I’m plugging in need more power, I plug to the wall. I was told this might not do what I needed (not powerful enough) but wall power solved the problem! Great product and reasonably priced!

Bought this little guy after my husband's old hub was taped up together with duct tape, still working but looking shabby. This hub is sleek looking and works great. Would totally recommend especially since it has usb 3.0 ports.

I have a small laptop with only 2 USB ports and this hub is perfect. Allows me to connect an additional 4 devices with no performance issues. I've had the hub full and running multiple file sharing options without any issues.

The j5 create - 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub - is compact and very functional. For computers were minimal USB ports, this unit solves the problem. It also avoids having to pull out the monitor and find a port on the rear of the unit.

The j5create products are, generally, very nice and this is no exception. Plain and simple, it's a USB 3.0 and it works fine. Windows detected it with no problems (even installed Windows 10 from a thumb drive connected through the hub). A surprising, and welcome, feature for this hub (at the price I paid) is that it came with a power supply. A lot of hubs do not. So, if you have a USB device that needs a little extra power, this can handle it.

A good little hub that powers multiple portable hard drives with no problem. Only wish these had some way to stick or mount to a surface. I personally dont like that usb hubs slide around... Some folks may not mind..

No issues with using the USB3 hub. Works well with a laptop. Comes with a power adapter if you need it for higher power USB devices but is not required. Small size fits into a brief case well to carry with you.

Nice little hub, the extra power was needed as i use a surface and the usb port has limited power and couldn't run my second screen. This did the trick of allowing several high power usb devices to run without any issues.

I needed this more than I knew when I bought it! It's a great time saver since I don't have to keep moving the computer to access the USB ports on the back anymore. I use this with my MAC and it works great.

I purchased this hub for my Surface Pro 3 which only has one USB 3.0 port. While the device fits my needs, there are more ports on the hub than the single USB connection can handle. To the manufacturer's credit, the hub comes with a power plug. However, the plug is enormous, which defeats the purpose of making the device compact for portability. When using the hub without the power cord, you can only use two out of the four ports at a time. Given the limitations, however, the hub is worth the money.

Overall, I have loved having this hub. When I was doing backups from my computer to multiple drives, I could hook them all up and let them backup through the night. Only one time so far did I have a drive that didn't want to mount with it, but it was when it was the fourth drive on the hub, so I might have needed to use the power plug that comes with the hub. I think it is worth the price.

Nice HUB for connecting more USB devices to your computer. The fact that these ports are 3.0 is a plus. Have owned mine for at least 6 months and haven't encountered any issues. Overall a great product.

Small lightweight, has power adapter as well -- but you only need that if you want to use one of the USB ports for charging, not essential for basic operations. I use it for a lightweight travel option.

I needed this to be able to add additional USB 3.0 ports to my laptop. It is ideal for that. It is a useful and excellent addition to my laptop bag as well as to my laptop dock at my home office.

This is especially great for an iMac. The USB is in the back. So to have something that gives you better access and extra USB ports is great.

I just got to try out my new j5 Create JUH340 hub and was so amazed at the speed that my craft and scrapbooking files copied over to my external drives. I would definitely recommend this product.

Working so far, have 3 drive hooked up to hub. Movies, photos and music can be played without a problem. No loss of speed that I can tell, but I haven't tried to push anything through the hub.

Not sure how to write a review for a USB hub, I plugged it in and it worked. I have not had any issues, items seem to connect as they should, and the speed seems to be good as well.
