this was purchased for my new laptop that did not have network port. Also gives me more USB ports. Easy to install plug and play.

This allows a faster ethernet connection for my laptop than wi-fi and includes a three port USB 3.0 switch. It works flawlessly.

I purchased this so that I could have a hard wired Ethernet cord attached to my wireless all in one desktop. It does the trick and also has a few USB3 ports on it.

Needed a way to access the network when my internal NIC on my Win7 computer went out, and this does the job. Painless installation. Although I bought this as a temporary solution, it's become permanent because it's so transparent. Would buy again if the situation required it.

While this port does function fine like it is, and I really like using a single port for my laptop that has no Ethernet and is short of USB ports, if you want to use an input such as an external HD, you'll need to add a power source. Would have been nice to know when purchased. Would have been nicer if included in purchase price.

Works really well, transfer speeds are good, feels very well built. Internet is very stable. Make sure you install the drivers before plugging it in. Only complaint is that it runs fairly warm, and I'm not sure if its because it's usb 3.0 or just the length of the cable. Doesn't seem to affect performance.

Quickly recognized with both Windows 8.1 and 10. Works smooth and seamlessly.

I'm a producer on an indie feature film and uploading the video files from my MacBook Air has proven to be time consuming. I purchased this adapter to allow me to be able to upload via Ethernet and it worked exactly as I hoped with very minimal setup.
