Provides services promised. Great for Ethernet laptop connectivity when your machine does not have a native rj45 port. The USB ports are a plus but they won’t support powering down stream devices without adding an external power supply.

The ethernet adapter is easy to install as long as you follow the directions (i.e., don't plug it in before you install drivers). Speed is good, so no issues, unlike its j5 cousin, USB to HDMI adapter, which does not work with USB docking station drivers.

Works as intended. Having the additional USB ports for my surface is a huge plus.

My parents motherboard lan died but this kept them connected until the could upgrade. Plug and play with Windows 10. Couldn't have been easier and cheaper that a wireless adapter.

It did it's job, can't complain. I have it currently hooked up to my main laptop.

Well-built, very functional gadget for my Suface Pro 4. Housing is tough aluminum and cord seems durable. This device was priceless during my recent three week trip to China, where hotel wireless is very weak. It allowed me to easily connect to the much faster Ethernet. Happy camper!

Needed to consolidate ports on my Mac and this worked wonderfully. Instead of using one of the thunderbolt ports for an ethernet dongle, this combines ethernet and USB together and frees the thunderbolt port for a monitor. No noticeable impact to ethernet thruput.

Works nicely with my Dell Inspirion. No noticeable lag in internet service.

This is a great USB adapter, it comes with ethernet cable adapter and three additional extra USB ports. This unit will work on MAC and Windows computers.

This is a great addition to any workspace. Especially now since everyone who can work from home, is. You have to install drivers to use this so forget about using it with an iPad or tablet. You also need an extra power adapter, sold separately, to “maximize” the use of the hub. That’s the only down side. I needed it for my iPad but I use it for ,y laptop since it doesn’t have an Ethernet port, it’s perfect. I don’t use high capacity usbs on it so it works fine without the adapter.

Very nice to have on any pc with limited usb ports you can also use it as a charging hub for usb devices. Works great easy to install just install soft ware driver plug it in and your ready. Would be better with an AC adapter.

Did just what I needed! Wanted to leave my pc hardlined to my router, and needed a second ethernet connection for tpcast VR wireless headset, so this device achieved just that by using a USB port instead. Now I have the best of both worlds!

While I can't speak to Windows or OSX (I don't run either), these adapters work flawlessly on every Linux distro I have tried them on. Ubuntu, Mint and Raspbian see them immediately and require no kernel module downloads or configuration. Oldest kernel I have run these on is 4.19.66 so anything newer that than should be a breeze to use these with. I have over a half dozen in production and so far no problems.

Super easy to use. No drivers needed. I did not test speeds, but noticed nothing slow on either the USB or ethernet connections.

Bought this to use with my Macbook air. It provided a wired connectivity option and who cant use more USB 3.0 connections. Plug and play!

I needed an ethernet adapter for my new laptop which did not have an ethernet port. This external port it’s fast and works well.

GIves me the power and extra ports I need with the new MacBook Pro. Next best thing to a dock, although I could have chosen the Thunderbolt to USB Option this was worth the price point with the fact that I have more USB devices than Thunderbolt.
