USB to Ethernet Link speed 1000/1000 (Mbps) Confirmed that Flash drives 2.0/3.0 works as expected. I have not tried using a harddrive USB2.0 but I assume a power adapter for the J5 Port will be needed. The only fault I give it was the cable on the J5 Create was very very short for my needs. I will NOW need to get a longer USB AtoA cable in order for the J5 to lay flat. Its just hanging from behind my desktop.

I'm able to use the ethernet connection when I need to connect to my switches and routers directly. Plus, the additional USB ports have been handy for external drives.

I was able to get one that also has 3 USB ports and this will be very useful as my laptop never has enough USB ports and this will be very helpful!

Probably the best solution if you wanted to have a USB hub and ethernet as well! You are probably here looking if you play Super Smash Bros or Animal Crossing. Quality of this unit is very nice. Doesn't feel cheap.

Worked like a charm and had zero issues during the 4 day training I conducted. Highly recommend if you need an adapter to let your newer PC connect to ethernet (many newer PC's don't have Ethernet ports built in).

Needs power supply to really shine

This provides an unpowered hub and it seems that most of my USB devices needs power, so to use them I also need to carry an external power supply. Not the fault of the product, just a frustration at it not doing what I hoped.

I checked online before and many reviews said that Chinese hub can heat up. So I bought this at Best Buy to make sure that it doesnt get hot when connect multiple devices. This works great so far. I would recommended eventhough it is a bit pricy

Handy Adapter

She is a school teacher and needed a direct Ethernet connection for reliable Internet connectivity for her distance teaching. There is a CD that you have to install for this to work but it was very straight-forward. I did not realize that this was also a 3-port USB hub, which would be handy, but be forewarned! You need to buy a power adapter for the hub to work, which would be another cord flopping around the back of her laptop.

I decided to get this adapter since I would be able to use my laptop with wired Ethernet, plus it also has 3 USB ports. Having one adapter to keep track of and being able to use it multi-purpose seemed like the best situation. The adapter works fine.
