Would have been what I needed

However I didn’t realize it requires that you install a driver on both laptops. While I could have installed in my laptop, IT would not authorize it on my work laptop so I had to return it.

I could only use it as a USB dock instead of a docking station to setup multiple screens, but that's probably a fault with my USB port and not the docking station itself.

Posted .This Dock requires an installation of a driver for the video ports to function correctly. Drivers are located on j5create website under the "Support" tab > "Downloads/Drivers". Once installation is complete, connect the Dock to computer via USB-A, then connect a VGA and HDMI cables to Dock and the other end to display with correct input selected. ** If you require further assistance; please contact the j5create Technical Support team and we will be glad to further assist you. The connectivity of USB devices to the docking station does not work well all the time, it works better when you connect directly to the laptop/computer usb ports and not through the dock.

We do have models such as the JUA210 where you do have screw ports and thus a secure connection will be possible.
