Didn't work on one of my computers

This will only work with thunderbolt connection. Didn't see that anywhere on the description. Worked perfectly on my wife's laptop with regular USB connections.

I bought it a few days ago for my 2019 macbook pro running catalina os so I could add two external monitors. I chose this model so I could use it for my personal mac as well as my work laptop which is an hp, but after my experience with my home laptop I am going to return this as soon as I finish writing the review. I downloaded the driver, restarted the laptop like it said to do, then plugged in the dock. It appeared to work, until I moved a window from my laptop screen to one of the external monitors. After a few seconds the screen froze, then the signal cut out to both monitors simultaneously and everything appeared back on my laptop screen. Then it flickered again and the signal returned to the monitors. This cycles back and forth 4 or 5 times then it forces my laptop to restart. So I uninstalled, deleted, redownloaded, and reinstalled the driver. It worked slightly better this time, as I was able to get a few minutes of work done before the flickering started. But there is really no point to this device, I bought it to improve my workflow and it is nothing but a hindrance. I will never purchase anything from j5create again, and best buy should be ashamed to sell such a worthless product. I can't imagine that any of the 5 star reviews you see here are anything but bots given all the spelling and grammatical erros. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE!!!!

Portable Dock with Unstable Connection

I thought I was getting it for a steal, so I bought two of them. However, after giving it to two different users, the problems with the device became apparent. You can see from the product photo that the VGA port has no screw holes. This quickly became a major problem. The VGA cable constantly fell out. The USB cable part of the device that plugs into the computer has to sit in there "just right" in order to maintain a connection. I had thought this device would be good to have as a portable computer dock, but it just doesn't work that well.

Even using one display on the HDMI port had artifacts on grey colors. I'm returning it for something with Mini Displayport.
