Not easy to figure out

Posted .To clarify, the dock does not include its own power adapter, it is designed to operate without one, though an optional 5V Micro-B DC input can be used if additional power is needed. Stay away, flaky unit and J5 Support Sucks Badly

USB does not work. Contacted J5 support, all I get is endless email back and forth asking me to provide various information, fill out forms and send them driver information. I think they are doing this to get you to not claim warranty. I would stay away from this brand.
