This is a simple plug and play adapter. If you are getting connection issues, I would recommend checking to make sure the connections are tight and maybe switching out your HDMI cable. Was not the correct cable that I needed

I received help in determining what cables were needed in order for me to con ect my laptop to my monitors. I needed a Male adapter in order for it to work so I was not able to actually use this purchase.

USB level is important

Posted .USB ports and different versions can be confusing, we understand; the JUA354 being USB 3.0 is also compatible with USB 2.0 ports and will work as well. Only difference would be minor, slightly slower speeds. For further information on compatibility with your computer, we recommend contacting support on the packaging and a representative will be more than happy to further explain the differences in USB ports and assure you it will still work, not harming your computer.
