    Works great & easy to install. Just make sure to read the directions first. The 2nd monitor does occasionally go out & I need to unplug the USB & plug it back in to a different slot.

  • Connects old display to new laptop

    This adapter allows me to connect my older, large display to my laptop. If you have the blue-type connector, count the pins to verify. It came with a CDROM and said it was for Windows 8, but it worked fine on my Windows 10 laptop. I hadn't considered that my display isn't HD, so the display is of lesser quality than the laptop screen, but it is much bigger.

    Works, however Higher resolution settings on monitor causes screen to blank out 2 or 3 times a week. Easy fix, just unplug\plug in USB and screen comes back. But still an inexpensive solution if you need this type converter.

    It works, but requires reset once or twice a day. Easy to use, but If you need this type adapter, go with another device.

    Purchased for an "all in one pc". Works as advertised. Plug n Play with no additional software needed.

      This is a very basic display adapter that works for Windows PCs. Glad to hear that it worked out well. The adapter does require a driver, but a newer OS may download the driver automatically.

    Saved my eyes - I was able to plug and play with this adapter. I wasn’t required to download a driver as was required for me to do with an adapter I tried previous to this one. My job has an administrative lock on my computer that is loaned out to me and I felt like they would be hesitant, if not resistant to download driver for me since it isn’t for equipment provided by them
