USB Docking Breaks Easily
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The dock connects my laptop to my monitor just fine but the USB port has ruined two chargers so far. The blue plastic on the docking station gets pulled out with the charger cord; the first time this happened I just re-plugged in the cord and the plastic went back into place but I used a different cord and the same situation happened but now the blue plastic is broken and stuck in my charger. So the USB port is forever ruined and now this charger is unusable. It's obviously not the chargers if it's happened to two different cords but it's extremely frustrating and makes 2/5 of the product useless.

Excellent docking station

This works great. I had to buy the usb-c power cord so it would power my laptop but other than that this setup is great.

Mine is connected all the time. Video is most impacted by this. It may also not be obvious that you can have only one device at the 4K resolution where some may expect both ports to be 4K.

The first one failed (Plugable Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI Dual). We have been using this one for several weeks now and it's been working fine.
