I did NOT use my Microsoft USB Charging HUB which Microsoft sold as the only option for multimonitors 3 years ago when I purchased my first MSB. Turns out the Microsoft Hub constantly charges the battery and that caused by last MSB battery to swell and destroy the touch screen. It was a known problem, so I went with this J5 non-powered. It connected perfectly first time.
