I have a 100W USB-C charger plugged in, the charging and displays work great! I'm using this dock for a dual monitor setup for two workstations, which are using laptops listed below. Posted .The power-in port will only support 60W pass-through charge. Please check the power requirements of your manufacturer hardware for more information on your device.

Only issue I have is that it would sometimes at random switch the orientation of the dual monitors so that I would have to unplug the HDMI cables and switch them

Terrible return policy

What kind of store has a 15 day return policy? Especially when you’re trying to compete against the convenience and prices of Amazon? When. $90 computer hub doesn’t support the cables of my two monitors, and I try to return it 3 weeks later, and you only offer me in store credit—you may have gained $90 but you have lost a LIFETIME of purchases that will now go to Amazon. What are you thinking???? You can’t compete in price. You can’t compete in variety. The only thing you’ve got is convenience (because I want the hub now, not tomorrow). And you just gave that up with this return policy. Bye bye forever, Worst Buy! SMH

Simple set up

I think that manufacturers are getting rid of laptop ports to reduce cost and to slim down the computers. This is making hubs, docks, and adapters a necessity to get the most out of your new laptop. We appreciate you for choosing a j5create docking station.

It was constantly hot, yet it worked up until last week it gave out. Their 1-year warranty is of no help. I am glad my AMEX helped with the refund protection.

Posted .The USB-C Dual HDMI Mini Dock has a 2 year limited warranty through the manufacture. Generally, adapters emit heat as a normal part of its operation. Hotter operating temperatures can be expected, if the USB-C pass-through charging and/or all ports on the hub are utilized.

Posted .Proper functionality entails downloading and installing a driver on a Windows or Mac platform. If you have a work computer, you are getting an Access Denied error. This occurs when you do not have Administrative access to your computer. You may have to contact your IT department in order to see if they will allow you to install the software. Thank you.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the j5create USB type-c mini docking station so that I can connect a large screen via HDMI to my new solid state drive laptop. With this mini doc station I have experienced my laptop's screen display turn sideways, and upside down. I finally figured out it was the j5create that caused it. Unplug, and plug back in. Display scree fixed. It also will quit communicating to my large screen periodically during my work. Again, reboot the j5create to get the large screen back on. Other than that, the j5create does what it's supposed to do, which is hook-up.

Not for Big Sur.

I contacted the company and they stated they do not have a driver for Big Sur yet, which is ludicrous. Big Sur has been out for months now, and the fact that this docking station even needs a driver to begin with when many docking stations are plug and play. This station requires extra work for the user, a very dated process.
