Docking Station

Thank you for purchasing this J5Create dock. There is a solution for the issue that you are seeing when you close your laptop lid. If you can find power settings on your computer there will be an option for “Choose what closing the lid does”. If you choose the setting “Do Nothing” in the drop down under “When I Close the Lid”. This should keep the monitors on when you close your laptop lid. I hope that this helps.

Posted .To clarify, the dock does not include its own power adapter, it is designed for use with your existing USB-C power supply, as noted on the packaging (“When using your own Type-C power adapter”). Followed the instructions and it simply does not work. J5Create normally has good products, but this one is just not ready for production. I will probably return it for a refund.
