This was purchased as part of a large onb-line order while store was closed with the guidance of a sales associte over the phone. Order included 2 monitors, cables, etc. Sold me a windows keyboard and mouse for my mac...didn't work properly and it was a fight to get them to take the return. One of the ports in the docking station stopped working within a month. Best Buy told me to deal with the manufacturer. Really dissatisfied with Best Buy and will not shop with them again.

Don't get J5Create. there stuff breaks on every OS upgrade, and it takes months and months and months to fix. Find a different choice.

Not worth the money. Slow in connection and sometimes doesnot work at all.

It works, but not without a struggle. I wish I didn't wait so long to find a better solution...now I am out of my return period. Find a better product.

Unreliable performance and very buggy product. When used on mac I have to configure the monitor setup often as it resets after the computer falls asleep or is shutdown. On windows pc it will often 'not recognize the usb device plugged in' and I have to do all sorts of tricks to get it to work.

Some ports stopped working within months. Was great until then. Never had one of these quit working before.

This is not a simple plug and play device. Makre sure you have all the drivers
The USB-C Dual HDMI Mini Dock requires drivers to allow dual display's via HDMI ports and internet access via Ethernet port. The USB Type-A ports are PnP. Using on 2020 Macbook Pro Worked okay when I first bought it. Requires drivers that must be downloaded from j5create that are totally insecure and don't even have a certificate. Overall shady product. After the MacOS Big Sur upgrade, the thing no longer works because j5create still hasn't released new drivers. Don't buy this product. Spend a little more money and go with a better quality product.`

Connected my two monitors, keyboard, phone charger and it works great. Super compact docking station.

network doesnt work with big sur, power pass through died after a few weeks, about to return for a different brand

I bought 2 of these units - one for work and one for my home office. Both units failed within 6 months - wouldn’t connect to my monitor. I know they were defective, because I swapped units and the monitor and cable were fine. I replaced with a VAVA unit, so far it’s working perfectly. Total piece of junk. Stay away.

No drivers to work with Big Sur. May work fine with Intel based machines.
Unfortunately at this time our research and development team is still working on compatible software for M1 macs. If you wish, you can be placed on an "On-Hold" list and as soon as the drivers are available, you will be notified. Didn't work at all! I tried everything. Every video and image I saw shows it used with a power cable. No cable is included. Why bother purchasing another cable for a device that's supposed to keep you from purchasing multiple cables and adaptors?!
The USB-C Dual HDMI Mini Dock does not come with a power cable. This device gets it's power when it's connected to a computer via USB-C. The USB-C power-in port on the Mini Dock allows pass-through charge when a USB-C power-brick is in use. USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0 is required. It will also requires an installation of a driver for functionality on a Windows or Mac platform. Drivers are located on j5create website under the "Support" tab. Thank you.
