Switching between my personal station and work station is so easy now.
With my old dock from CODi at a similar price point I needed to send it back as an RMA to get a firmware update when my Intel drivers updated.
But with the j5 create I was able to just install the drivers on my work stations and boom I am in business. Transitioning is basically seamless as well.
Generally, adapters emit some heat as a normal part of its operation. It could run hot, especially if the USB-C pass-through charging and/or all ports on the hub are utilized. Thank you for your review, Denise

It works but is touchy. Attached usb if touched slightly disconnects monitors. Probably just need to get some sort of additional attachment...
Other wise works well and gets it done.
In the case where the JCD381 is dropping connectivity when slightly touched, it may be the USB-C connector going loose and in such situations, I recommend contacting the manufacturer and seeking an exchange. The manufacturer offers a 2 year exchange period. If interested, please feel free to reach out to the technical support team printed on the casing and an agent will be ready to lend a helping hand. Requires you to install a driver that’s very complicated

My laptop has only a single USB-A port and no ethernet port. This resolves that. However it does run very hot which leads me to believe it is likely a battery drainer, however I have not needed to use it for an extended enough period of time to verify that empirically. The heat is coming from somewhere though, and I'd be pretty certain it's causing excess drain on the battery because of it. I would seek other options.
In regards to the warm feel; this is normal as electricity is running through the hub. If it gets to the point where the dock is harming you, please contact the support team as it could be defective. The JCD383 is covered under a manufacturer's two year warranty and an agent will gladly exchange it for you. Respectfully, j5create

Good little USB C dual HDMI docking station. Only one problem. Currently will not support most current Mac OS (Big Sur) Hopefully a patch is coming soon. It does work great for my PC though!

It's a good option if you can't get a true docking station from the whoever makes your laptop. I think those work better, but this solution is not bad and usually much less expensive.
Allows you to add two additional monitors/displays to increase your efficiency at work through your USB-C port.

Great solution for my multi-screen setup. The one plug use allows me to switch easily between my work and personal laptops without needing to switch transponder for keyboard and mouse.
Provides extra connectivity for your USB-C computer, featuring data transfer, power delivery and video displays.

Due to the ease of use, I highly recommend this product. Plug and play however does get s little warm with longer term use with all usb and hdmi ports being used
Great product for different uses. The JCD381 supports up to 4K resolution, 1 gigabyte internet speeds with a more secure, reliable web surfing experience - we value your positive review! Appreciatively, j5create

Overall good product. Only issue is that for computers older than 2 years you need a mini-USB adapter which was not available in the store, or any store. Had to order on Amazon.
USB 3.0, Ethernet, Power Delivery and 2 HDMI video ports over a single USB-C connection. Connect to a computer or tablet with a USB-C port. We appreciate your review, thank you.

Working perfectly well and was easy to find while browsing at store.

Overall great performance out of a reasonably priced USB-C docking station. Having the ability to charge through this dock is really nice. No need to plug in multiple cords to your laptop. It really could use a couple extra USB ports to include USB-C. Great video display as well.

Terrible time with this product for my Macbook. It seems to work find with non IOS devices. I eventually gave up and threw the Mini Dock in a junk drawer. My time is too valuable to spend trying to work with something that is not compatible with iOS.
