I HAD NO IDEA HOW MANY PORTS THERE WERE ON AN OLD MAC (STILL MISS THEM) BUT THIS MULTI ADAPTER IS GREAT. SALES KNEW THEIR PRODUCT VERY WELL AND EXPLAINED THE ADVANTAGE OF USING THIS BRAND OVER OTHERS.

After doing some research this is the one that came out on top for my needs. After using it for a few weeks it is doing just what it says it will do. Great piece.

Like it doesn’t matter if you are charging your device with it or just have it for an HDMI adaptor or to plug in a flash drive. It gets hot. No idea why.

I'm really sorry to hear about this! We do expect that the device will get warm to moderately hot, but this is well within normal ranges. Our device has been stress tessed and we have found that the average max opeational temperature for this product is ~106 °F / 41 °C, this is also while the adapter is under a full load or is being used continuously for >~ 1hr.Please remember that ambient temperatures can also affect the unit as well as your computer. Manufacturer's recommend that computers be used where the temperature is between 50° and 95° F (10° and 35° C)." If you are finding that your device is exceeding the average temperature of 135 °F/57 °C, for periods > 30 minutes, it may be defective and we'd be more than happy to help with an exchange. While testing, we haven't found this product to run at anything higher than 112°F/44 °C, for periods <10 minutes.If you would like to speak to our customer service representatives, our information can be located on the back of all of our product boxes, as well as on our website on the contact page.

Excellent Port Extended

Many of them simply don’t work at all or work inconsistently. This one worked perfectly when plugged in and has worked consistently every time. It’s small, compact with lots of port options to address every requirement I can imagine. Super happy with this port extender

USB HDMI and ethernet hub.

This product works very great and works on almost all electrical products that have C-Type. I use this for my Chromebook laptop and cell phone. Works amazing with my cell phone. The cool thing about it I can have it charging at the same time as I'm using. It has an adapter charging port so you can charge at the same time you're using this device. Thanks guys

Great hub, compact and fuctional

Some have stated it overheats, I have NOT experienced that. Pass though changing works well, make sure though you have a powerful enough charger. Have connected multiple devices without any issue. HDMI specifically works great. I also contacted the vendor, they service, expertise and response were superb.

Great to add functionality to a USB port.

Wish it had come with a power adapter / cable. Did have some minor HDMI output issues like flickering however almost certain it was a compatibility with the specific TV I was using.

I have an OEM USB adapter for my MacBook Pro and it doesn't transfer and hold up to all the transfers that I am regularly downloading. This little guy no only does the job but I can have multiple items connected AND in a pinch it also works to charge my laptop. Win win all around. Didn't disappoint!
