USB-C Multi Adapter

My new computer did not have an Ethernet port. At my desk, Ethernet is faster than wireless. This also has an HDMI plug in so you can unplug 1 connection and your computer is ready to travel. I don't use the HDMI feature because the adapter gets very hot. All in all I like it.

If you want to tack advantage of the thunderbolts on a new Mac Book Pro with that awesome M1 chip this is a must have device. I have a wireless mouse, usb headset (work) ethernet and hdmi for that extra monitor. s

A useful adapter/hub

I would have liked a longer USB C cord, and I've ordered an extension so I'll have more flexibility in placement.

If the hub ever becomes hot to the point where it is smoking or harming you, please don't hesitate to reach out to the support team and seek an exchange under the manufacturer's two year warranty.

Very easy to use and something that I needed given the change in the USB cable connections. Sales person gave me multiple options to choose from and this, I’m not the most expensive (which I’m very happy about) What is the perfect choice!

Safety concern

Posted .It’s normal for multi-port USB-C adapters like the JCD383 to become warm/hot during use, especially when several ports are active.

I have a Mac, have to connect 3 usb devices and I travel, so the fact that it’s small is extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend to others that need to connect 3 or 4 usb devices - no more.

Perfect for Laptop

Additionally when I use my work laptop at home all I need to do is switch the USB-C from my home laptop to the work laptop and I'm hooked in to my large monitor and storage devices.

Great USB-C port extender with Ethernet and HDMI

Gives good video clarity, Ethernet works fine, mouse and keyboard work fine. No issues.

Multi adapter for laptop

Very useful tool to use considering how limited native ports are in today’s laptops. Have used it multiple ways, multiple times, and always very reliable.

Since iMacs are so devoid of ports, you'll need this. But when I returned the iMac and got a Mac Mini, I returned this too since Mac Mini's are much better fitted with ports.
