I use this adapter daily. It is well built. I would recommend this adapter.

The JCD383 will be warmer than other computer components due to its aluminum casing. The aluminum case will actively radiate heat outward from the internal components where a plastic would insulate and keep the heat inside of the case.

Have a iPad gen 4 and had to figure out that I needed to open files then plug in adapter and insert USB then it opens up in files. Should give good service.

I got it because I need an ethernet port but didn't want to spend more for a laptop that had one. This was perfect plus I have more USB's than I could ever need.

It works great and haven't had any issues with it thus far.
