I bought his to go with my new Samsung 9Pro laptop. It works great for that, but it would be better if it had a longer lead. I feel like it should be able to rest maybe 4-5 feet away so as not to hang off the side and warp the C/Thunderbolt socket. Also, as it turns out, you can use it to connect your iPhone or USB-C to your TV (in case you don't have wi-fi but you DO have LTE data) and stream your phone to your TV via the HDMI sockets. (This works with phones, but not with tablets.) I would recommend this to a person who just got a new Samsung laptop because there just aren't many USB-C peripherals yet.

This has the following ports: HDMI, 2 USB 3, USB fast charging, USB C, & Ethernet. I bought it for the extra USB 3 ports as my new laptop only had one of those ports. It’s a little on the expensive side, but I had some reward dollars that I used. It works great, but it can get a little hot if you have it connected to your laptop for extended periods of time.

Excellent compatibility with my Lenovo laptops and LG monitor. Pass through charging is excellent and requires only one plug in to the laptop. Very nice.

I use it to connect and external camera, mic and a large widescreen monitor for my Macbook. It works well, everything is seamless (plug and play) but it gets VERY hot for what its worth. I don't leave it unattended too long because of this but it has functioned without issue daily for almost a year so far.

This adapter was a bit on the spendy side but I have no regrets. I researched cheaper ones and most reviews said they either had problems with it or it stopped working altogether after so long of use. I've had this one for 10 months and with regular use it still works just as perfectly as the day I purchased it. Definitely worth the price and just what I needed to connect my drawing tablet to my MacBook

Allows my printer and other usb peripherals to connect with my iMac which just has 4 thunderbolt connections and one headphone jack.

Connects my printer, scanner and external drive. Works fine.

I recently decided to upgrade my PC laptop to the latest specs in advance of the release of Windows 11, but I also wanted to insure that that I was fully Windows 10:compliant in the event that I opted not to upgrade. Unfortunately the latest EVO laptops have reduced ports or help facilitate reduced current draw, so connectivity was not what I was used to. Fortunately I was able to find this adapter and the performance has been simply amazing! Ethernet, HDMI and multiple USB ports all operate with no bandwidth issues. And the exterior finish matches the laptop as a bonus! Looks great, performs great…what is not to like?? Well, it is a bit pricey, but since the performance is top notch that is really the only comment.

Have used it several times, but it gets too warm for my liking. Cord is not long enough so to looks like my Mac is just about giving birth to it. Just sort of hangs there. Nice to have all the accessory ports, but I’m concerned about the heat produced. First time using it I was transferring pictures and thought that was causing the heat. Leaving it plugged in but idle, it generated the same amount of heat.

Pretty much every port you would need/ hope to have access to on a pc/tablet. The finish/texture of device is kind of a matte smooth finish; akin to the newest mac pro exteriors. Unfortunately, you would find it necessary to purchase AT LEAST one of these if you own a newer mac or surface tablet and wish to accomplish AnythiNG that requires an external input/output devices or plug-ins that is not designed with USB-C in mind. SO basicvally... great device; convenient size; just think it should be included with all devices that are designed exclusively with usb-c ports.

This usb comes in handy when you need to connect several things into your laptop etc.

Works like a charm! Small footprint, ample ports, and simple to use. We have another j5 adapter for older laptop, but with new laptop requiring USB Type C plug, the choice was a no-brainer.

It was brand new product, with zero reviews on this site or anywhere on the internet, and also a little bit pricey, Hence I was hesitant to buy, but went with my instincts and J5create reputation on other products. I received it within less than 2 days. High quality workmanship, properly tested device and reliability, are pretty important to me. Yes, there are some cheaper products, but hardly any meeting my criteria. In my line of profession, time is of premium - effort to order something, and then returning, is an overhead for which I can least afford. I received it well before stated time, and it met all my criteria - including high quality finish and it works flawlessly. It is worth every penny and I would highly recommend this to anyone sharing my criteria.

This works great on Mac and I have it for almost a year. Reason why I give 4 instead of 5 is because it always gets hot every time I use my mouse.

I use this hub to travel back and forth between two homes, and have one in each home. Works great for this purpose, and has plenty of ports. My only issue with it is the short white cable (shown in product photo) connects to my laptop and I would have liked it to be longer, more like two feet long, to keep the hub and it's assortment of cables from being so close to my laptop. Otherwise am very happy with the product.

The price was a little high, but it is a compact and useful multimedia station. Great for the newer slim laptops that come standard with usb-c only.

Needed a adapter for my accessories to use with my laptop. USB, Ethernet, HDMI, SD card. Plenty of ports. It works great. I bought one for both home and work.

This was just what I needed for my new remote work from home job. The position required for me to have an additional monitor and Ethernet connection I have an Apple iMac computer and was able to have my monitor, Ethernet and USB headphones connected together with no issues whatsoever. The device it’s a little warm so I unplugged it when not in use
