Love the expandability!

Does what it's supposed to and does it well. Great tool for expand-ability on Surface Laptop 3 and other notebooks, etc.

Hotter than a mcdonalds cup of coffee

I with the cord was either shorter or longer, king of an awkward length to stow away. The biggest problem with this is that it gets HOT.. like dangerously hot. Not sure if thats a problem specific to this product or if its just an inherent problem with the DoNgLeS... Either way i wish they would add better heat sinks or some ventilation somehow.

Posted .Generally, adapters emit some heat as a normal part of its operation. Please note that hotter operating temperatures can be expected, especially if the USB-C pass-through charging and/or all ports on the hub are utilized.

Excellent, but gets hot during use

The JCD383 will seem warmer that other electronic devices because it has a metal casing. The casing will transfer heat from the internal electronic components outward. This helps keep the internals cooler.

Gets hot but it works
