The adapter is great it has 2 regular USB's and 1 xtra fast USB along with slots for special video equipment and SD regular and mini.

Posted .SD card reader and three USB ports for gadgets; this multi adapter supplies all basic needs in one. In regards to the hot feel, this is normal due to electricity running through it, if in the case it is harming you or smoking, please reach out to support and an agent will gladly exchange it under the manufacturer's two year warranty.

Versatile

Works great on my MacBook Air, adding much more functionality and I love the USB and SD card slots for use. Have used it to display my phone on the TV as well.

It does not heat up too much as previous adapters did. Ethernet and charging usb worked really well

Growing your laptop

They all work and really expands the laptop. It does get hot quickly but cools as soon as the laptop is turned off.

Great dock alternative

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve seen some not so good reviews with this (adapter) working with Macbook Pro / Air M1 (in terms running super hot), but it works superbly with the 2021 iPad Pro M1 (zero hot to touch experiences). Additionally, I’ve not experienced battery draining issues. The USB C port serves to charge as well as data processing. Using Apple’s USB C adapter for ear jack, when I plugged into the USB C port, sound was great and I could adjust volume using EarPods sound adjust switch (which most adapters cannot do given they are not Apple MFI compatible). This adapter rounds out my iPad Pro serving as many primary computing device. AWESOME!!

Overheats But Does The Job.

If other options were available I probably would have went with something else. The product does overheat after a short while so I wouldn't buy as a primary source. Will probably work well for on-the-go, travel situations.

Great but expensive!

I use Logic Pro and basically need 3 USB at all times and a charger and HDMI cable, so I need something that is more quality than anything else. It works just fine no issues as of right now. So its really up to you, you can buy a crappy one online and replace it maybe a week later or spend more now and have it for a while.

Great dongle for MacBook Pro
