It has had a few issues mainly because it doesn’t give you very good instructions. We had it all set up so the screens worked fine and then the next morning one wouldn’t respond and they were moved all around. I don’t know if it took the computer time to recognize the set up or what. Our biggest issue is that it the box itself gets very hot and we have it sitting out where it’s ventilated. After a few days we didn’t haven’t had any glitches other than the heat. But our house hasn’t burnt down yet.

It is good to hear that the adapter is working well for you. This adapter will seem warmer than other adapters because it has an aluminum casing. The aluminum casing will transfer more heat from the internal components than a plastic case would. Thank you for sharing your review and feedback.

I planned to use this downstream of another adapter so that i could charge my surface pro while spilting the screen. No go. Must be used independently. Works great tho.

Just plugged it into usb-c port and am able to connect both of my monitors to it without issue. This also gives me option in future to buy more monitors and connect them without needing additional adapters
