Great dock

One connection charges and connects my display, keyboard and mouse. I have it connected to a 4K display. I don't notice the slower (30Hz) refresh. My only issue was I had to reboot my Chromebook the first time I connected it to get it to recognize the video.

Posted .Hello, we're sorry to hear the Dock was not working properly. The HDMI port is a PnP and with computers supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode for video output. Great (not so) little dock.

I've been using it with my Note 20 in DeX mode for the past year now and it's worked dependably every time. My only tiny complaint is the HDMI port being on the front. That was a bad design decision, but I've managed to deal with it without issue.

Good Dock...but with multiple monitors?

The only issue I have is the use of multiple screens. I have one monitor with HDMI directly to my laptop and one using the dock. The problem is the color, contrast, etc. are distinctly different between the two, and I can't make them match. its a bit distracting.

Do this if you have a lot of USB connected devices

With its power supply (110 volt) it lightens the load on USB-C port to which it attaches. It eliminates your USB peripherals from draining energy from the associated PC. I get better performance from this than my prior Travel dock which drew its power from my laptop.
