HDMI port does not work

The dock requires that the USB-C port that it is plugged into has a feature called Display Port Alternate Mode to have the HDMI port to work. I would recommend checking your computer’s specifications to see if your ports have this feature. Not meant for setting up with a dual monitor

Worked for about an hour then failed. Calls to customer service confirmed that it's not for setting up a dual monitor

This dock is designed to power a laptop up to 90 W through the USB-C connection, add 2 USB-A 3.0 ports, and add an HDMI port to connect to an additional monitor. Horrible. Never got it to work

Then got it installed and then reinstalled my antivirus which promptly deleted the file. Called Best Buy, they referred my to the manufacturer. Called the manufacturer and they could figure it out! I eventually gave up!

Zero stars for longevity

It suddenly failed with no warning. I simply unplugged the USB-C from my work laptop and when I plugged it into my personal laptop I got nothing. For the price I paid, I expected it to last far longer than it did. It doesn't get moved around or have things regularly changed on the dock (consolidates keyboard, mouse and desktop monitor for laptop use), only the laptop end of the USB-C is disconnected and reconnected regularly and the cable works fine elsewhere.
